What Happened to Emma Monkkonen?

Emma Monkkonen and her friend Daniil Gagarin were drowned last Thursday.

She had traveled to the cliffs known as La Zorra cove in Costa Blanca, Spain. Daniil Gagarin and his wife Darya were also present there.

Monkkonen got into trouble in churning Mediterranean waters. She was trapped by the stormy waves which ultimately took her life.

Reports suggest that Emma Monkkonen had jumped off the cliff in a daredevil leap. Ultimately, was washed out into the cove.

Emma’s remains were pulled out of the water nearly two miles away from the death spot. While Gagarin who died saving her was found the next day.

Daniil Gagarin Rescue Attempt Video On Instagram

Resue attempt of Daniil Gagarin was accidentally captured on a video. It was filmed by his wife Darya Gagarina.

In the clip, we can see Daniil Gagarin desperately trying to rescue Emma Monkkonen. He is seen jumping into the stormy sea while he managed to pull Emma onto a rock.

Despite, the effort, both were tragically killed by the raging Mediterranean.

Their tragic death footage has been shared on Instagram and Twitter. The clip has also been shared by DailyMail and many other news websites.

Many criticized news websites for sharing the clip while others mourned the loss of the two young people.
