On Tuesday night, Sir David Beckham marked his knighthood with a lavish celebration, mere hours after being honored by King Charles at Windsor Castle.
The festivities continued as David’s close friend, Gordon Ramsay, hosted a dinner at his restaurant in Chelsea, London. The evening saw the star enjoying the company of his closest friends and family well into the early hours.
When Sir David finally departed the opulent gathering at 1 a.m., he appeared slightly fatigued. He was seen holding hands with Victoria, who cleverly concealed any signs of revelry beneath her oversized sunglasses.
Throughout the night, David seemed unwilling to part with his newly received medal, gripping it tightly in one hand while holding onto his wife with the other.
Victoria Beckham had swapped her formal navy dress from the day’s ceremony for a sleek black evening gown paired with a fur bolero as she joined in the nocturnal celebrations.
David meanwhile looked the part in a classic velvet tux, having earlier worn a bespoke suit created by his designer wife for the royal ceremony.

The couple’s three youngest children Romeo, 24, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14, were also dressed to impress as they left the venue with Cruz’s girlfriend Jackie Apostel, 29.Â
Harper, 14, matched her mother in another custom design from the Victoria Beckham brand – a long satin slip dress, in a baby pink hue, accessorising with a feathered bolero jacket.
Jackie stood out in her burnt orange silk halterneck dress, also likely to be designed by Victoria, whilst her boyfriend showed off his sense of style in quirky braces.
A source close to the family revealed to the Daily Mail that family friend Gordon was delighted to host the dinner party as his gift to his best pal.
‘As David’s best friend, Gordon decided the best gift was to throw him a wonderful dinner,’ an insider spilled.Â
‘David was there, their kids, his sisters, parents and Victoria’s mum and dad.’
Sir David was made a knight of the British empire for services to sport and charity during Tuesday’s investiture, notably his impact on football over a twenty year period and subsequent ambassadorial role with UNICEF.
The former footballer was welcomed by King Charles while receiving his knighthood at Windsor Castle for services to sport and charity, and his younger sons were among the first to offer their congratulations.Â
Romeo shared a family photo as David celebrated the honour with an intimate lunch at Cliveden House with wife Victoria and his three youngest children before the night’s party.Â

‘No one deserves this more than you, love you so much xxx Congrats Sir dad’, Romeo captioned the photo.
Victoria meanwhile shared a post for her ‘kind, humble, hardworking’ husband, writing: ‘David, from the moment I met you 28 years ago, you’ve always been so proud to represent your country.’
‘Whether on or off the pitch, no one loves England or respects our Royal Family more, so to see you honoured by The King today is something I’ll forever cherish.’
‘You’ve achieved so much, and yet you’re still the same kind, humble, hardworking man I met nearly 30 years ago, as well as the most amazing husband and father. I’ve never felt prouder than I do today. Sir David, we all love you so much xxx’
There was no sign of David and Victoria’s eldest son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz at the celebrations. They have also so far stayed silent on social media.Â

The snub is just the latest slight after months of family feuding.
When it was announced that his father was to be knighted back in the spring, Brooklyn didn’t congratulate him either publicly or privately, while his other two sons made a huge fuss of the news on social media.
Brooklyn is said to have become increasingly estranged from the family after failing to attend any of his father’s 50th birthday celebrations in May.Â
In September it was reported that Victoria had declared ‘enough is enough’ after months of heartache over the long-running row.
Victoria is said to have drawn a line in the sand and can no longer ‘keep fighting the same fight’.
But last month the family dropped the biggest hint yet that a reconciliation was on the cards after David and Victoria praised Brooklyn’s cooking abilities.
They have continued to support their son and ‘liked’ his video on Instagram as he made buttermilk pancakes for his fanbase.

Reflecting on his knighthood, David told fans in an Instagram post on Tuesday: ‘Today has been such an emotional day — more emotion than nerves, in all honesty. There have been a few tears and a lot of emotion. It’s been a very special day. It’s something that we can all be proud of today as a family.’
‘To have my parents there today, to have my wife there to celebrate with my children, it makes it a very emotional day’, he added.
‘To receive such an important honour from His Majesty the King — one of the most elegant men, and someone from the most important and respected institution in the world.’
