An 8-year-old girl from Montana continues to be unaccounted for after disappearing from the Two Medicine area back in 2021.
According to NonStopLocal, Arden Pepion was last observed on April 22, 2021, during a visit with her uncle in the vicinity of Joe Show Road East, situated in the southeastern part of Glacier National Park.
At the time she went missing, Arden was just three years old.
Her uncle, identified as HaHaax Vielle, later admitted to charges of negligent endangerment, as reported by KRTV. During the incident, Arden and her uncle’s girlfriend were reportedly engaged in target practice when they noticed tracks leading toward the river.
The Blackfeet Tribal Prosecutor’s Office revealed that Arden’s disappearance was not reported until approximately five hours later. Search teams subsequently discovered a boot and footprints near the river, which were believed to belong to Arden.
The Daily Montanan reports that cadaver dogs subsequently searched the area, along with a scuba diving team, but the search proved unsuccessful.
At the time of her disappearance, Arden stood 3 feet tall and weighed 31 pounds. She has brown hair, brown eyes, and was last seen in a grey sweater, black leggings, and a purple jacket with a unicorn design on the front.
