But new research has now revealed exactly the kind of naughty searches that are prevalent in some of Australia’s biggest cities.

From continental tastes to good old Aussie hotties, a study of late night online activities by Babestation has uncovered all sorts of proclivities Down Under.

So, just what kind of kinky things is your neighbourhood into? 

Starting on the east coast, it would appear Sydneysiders have a thing for European beauties.

‘Sydney taking the top spot with Eastern Europeans shows the Harbour City has a real fascination with going continental,’ a Babestation spokesperson said.

However, head a bit further north and you’ll find Newcastle residents like to enjoy interracial content. 

Beth Bennett, a New Zealand-born model who has spent plenty of time in Australia, said she was more shocked by the top search result found in the NSW capital.  

‘I honestly thought Sydney would be topping the charts for something a little kinkier,’ she said. 

‘You’d think a few stressed-out Sydneysiders would be searching for a mistress. Australia is keeping things classy!’   

Meanwhile, those up in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast seem to still be chasing their youth as they prefer ‘college’ students.

Next on the list is the South Australia capital, with the spokesperson revealing: ‘Adelaide can’t get enough of MILFs.’

While Melbourne is ‘leading the way for lesbian searches’ which ‘shows the culture capital is keeping things steamy and playful’.

However, in Canberra, frisky online users have been known to search up UK models, while Hobart likes to keep things traditional with well-endowed women.

‘West Aussies are keeping it close to home,’ the spokesperson said, revealing the top adult content search in Perth is for Australians.  

Darwin is perhaps the most romantic of them all with a penchant for ‘couples’. 

‘All together, it proves Aussies are cheeky, varied and always ready to try something new when the lights go out,’ added the spokesperson.   

They went on to say: ‘What really stands out in Australia is the balance between fantasy and connection.

‘While the top categories might seem traditional, we’re seeing more viewers drawn to authentic, couple-led and personality-driven content.

‘It’s less about pure fantasy now and more about fun, chemistry and real-life appeal.

‘And while new interests come and go, categories like “College” and “Big Breasts” show that some classics never fade.’
