Police investigate after man self-presented to hospital with gunshot wound

Police are investigating after two men were injured in a “targeted” attack in Melbourne yesterday.

Police said after the incident a 20-year-old man self-presented at hospital with what is believed to be gunshot wound and is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

It’s understood that the incident occurred at Whittlesea Public Gardens in Thomastown just after 5pm.

Police are investigating after two males were located with injuries in Melbourne. (Nine)

It is understood a 19-year-old Thomastown man was also assaulted and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made at this stage.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated.
