A man has died at Sydney Airport after an accident at the freight terminal.
Emergency services were called to the airport in south Sydney at around 10:30am this morning after a freight handler was reportedly struck by a vehicle.

Paramedics treated the man, who is believed to be in his 40s, but he died at the scene.

The incident is not being treated as suspicious.

Sydney Airport said they were saddened by the incident confirmed they were offering support to airlines and authorities.

”Everyone at Sydney Airport is deeply saddened by the fatal incident involving an airfreight worker earlier this morning,” they told 9News.com.au.

“Our thoughts are with the worker’s family, friends and colleagues during this incredibly difficult time. Sydney Airport has made its support services available to all staff across the airport precinct.

“We are working to support the airline and relevant authorities as they investigate the incident.”

Worksafe NSW has been notified and a report is being prepared for the coroner.
