90 Day Fiancé star Elizabeth “Liz” Woods clapped back at a social media user who called her too “skinny” amid her weight loss journey.
Liz, 32, took to her Instagram Stories on Monday, December 30, to share before and after photos taken one year apart amid her weight loss journey. The recent photo showed the TLC personality looking thin in a tight pink sweater and skinny jeans, while she appeared heavier in the throwback snapshot.
Shortly after Liz shared the photos, she revealed in a following Instagram Stories post that one social media user DMed her saying that she is “tooo skinny” now. In addition to sharing the unnecessary comment, Liz showed how she clapped back at the critic.
“It’s actually perfect thank you very much,” she wrote in response to the troll. “My body has been through depression, which made me gain an uncontrollable amount of weight, treated me well during my own weight loss journey and then endured 14 rounds of chemo.”
The reality star concluded, “I pray you deal with your own body insecurities. Much love.”
Not only did Liz share her response, but she added to the message by including heart emojis and an emoji of the middle finger.
While Liz said that she had undergone chemotherapy, she did not reveal what the treatments were for.
Liz – who rose to fame while appearing on the 90 Day Fiancé franchise alongside ex Ed “Big Ed” Brown – has been open about her weight loss journey throughout her time in the spotlight.
In July, she reflected on her weight loss by sharing a photo of herself in a black bikini top with a matching black skirt alongside a photo of her appearing heavier on the reality show. “43 pounds I gained this time last year,” she wrote at the time. “I found myself back to me.”
In addition to candidly discussing her weight loss, Liz previously revealed that she met her current boyfriend, Jayson Zuniga, due to their shared love of staying active. “We actually met at a run. We are very active with each other. We met at an eight-mile run,” the mother of one told TV Insider in July.
Liz also opened up about her fast romance with Jayson, which began after Ed, 59, called off their wedding following an intense fight during an April episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?
“I was supposed to get married in August, Ed and I separated, and I started dating my boyfriend in October,” she said. “It happened really fast. I wasn’t looking. I planned on being single. We just hung out and were inseparable. Since then, I truly feel like when I read these sayings of like, someone can give you everything you’ve needed in three months that someone couldn’t in three years, I truly believe that.”
After noting that their relationship “just fell into [her] lap,” she said that their relationship has remained “strong” and they have “not had one breakup” at the time of the interview.
