Alec Baldwin Breaks Silence on Hilaria’s Car Accident with a ‘Big Fat Tree’: Here’s What Happened

Alec Baldwin reassured his followers that he was unharmed after being involved in a car accident in the Hamptons on Monday.

In a video posted to Instagram on Monday evening, Baldwin recounted that he was accompanied by his brother Stephen when he collided with a tree while driving his wife Hilaria’s white Range Rover.

According to Alec, the incident occurred when a large garbage truck abruptly cut in front of him, prompting him to swerve to avoid a collision.

“I ended up damaging my wife’s car. I feel bad about it, but everything’s okay,” he mentioned.

He added, “Her car is pretty banged up — it hit a big, solid tree.”

Alec said he was coming home to Los Angeles and professed his love for Hilaria.

“I’m still so proud of my wife,” he said, seemingly referring to her recently getting eliminated on “Dancing With the Stars.”

“Hilaria I love you more than anything and I’m very proud of you.”

“Ok, I’m fine … other than,” he concluded before gesturing to his head.
