Anthony Albanese has mocked the opposition for complaining about him giving them a rude nickname in parliament – saying they called the ‘wah-mbulance’.
The prime minister was asked an easy question by his own party about climate change policy and dubbed the Coalition the ‘No-alition’ for opposing it.
‘Not only are they so committed to saying no to everything and becoming a “No-alition”, they’re saying no to their own policies,’ he said in Question Time on Tuesday.
The opposition benches immediately went into uproar over his remark and Paul Fletcher rose to object in a point of order.

Speaker Milton Dick anticipated what Mr Fletcher was going to complain about and asked Mr Albanese to use the Coalition’s real name.
‘The wah-mbulance raced up there,’ the PM said in response to the objection.
Mr Albanese frequently calls the Coalition the Noalition both inside and outside of parliament since coining it earlier this year, but is not usually pulled up for it.
The PM also raised eyebrows when he pronounced the name of the Pacific Island nation of Kiribati wrong multiple times in parliament.
‘How good is our relationship when you can’t say the country’s name?’ a Liberal Party backbencher turned and said to Alex Hawke and Scott Morrison.
The pair sit next to each other in the ‘naughty corner’ of the House of Representatives and rarely contribute to the debate.
