Bravo has announced the renewal of several reality TV shows, including Shahs of Sunset (which was previously paused in 2022 after nine seasons), which has been renamed The Valley: Persian Style, and Ladies of London, which will air with an all-new cast. A new show will also be added to their portfolio as The Real Housewives expands their franchise to include The Real Housewives of Rhode Island.

Also announced was Real Housewives titled Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition (which will see one of the stars from the series change places with a “real housewife”). Other series that will return for new seasons include The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, The Real Housewives of Orange County, The Real Housewives of Potomac, and The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. But what do we know about the upcoming The Real Housewives of Rhode Island?

Fans of the Real Housewives franchise will be eager to learn more about The Real Housewives of Rhode Island, but very little information is available. No cast has been announced, but Andy Cohen will serve as executive producer in addition to Barry Poznick, Lucilla D’Agostino, Joseph Ferraro, and Jen McClure-Metz.

There is also a synopsis, per Variety. “Set against the shores of the Ocean State, The Real Housewives‘ franchise expands into the world of a tight-knit circle of Rhode Islanders who have deep community roots and families that go back generations,” the outline for the show states. “With aspirational lives, thriving businesses, and tangled family dynamics, these decade-long friendships prove that in a state this small, there’s no escaping your past… or each other.”

Two shows, The Real Housewives of New York and The Real Housewives of New Jersey, were not announced for a new season, and their future with the network remains uncertain.

The announcement was shared on the official BravoTV Instagram page with the caption, “IT’S. ALL. HAPPENING.” The post allowed fans to share their thoughts. “Did not see a ‘Ladies of London’ reboot coming… BUT SO HERE FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!!” a comment reads. “That was of the best ‘early Bravo reality TV days’ shows.”

“So ready for some New England Housewives,” another fan shared. Other reactions include “Love but bring back FAMILY KARMA!!!,” “Rhode Island represent!!!” and “Okay we love Rhode Island honey!!”

In addition, there has been some criticism about changing the Shahs of Sunset title to The Valley: Persian Style. Despite this, fans will see Reza Farahan, Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi, and Mercedes “MJ” Javid return to their screens.
