Lauren Harries, 45, has been placed into an induced coma after major brain surgery in order to stabilise the reality star.
Updates have been shared by Harries’ mother on her socials since April, when she first went into the hospital for a mystery condition.
However, today’s update was a heartbreaking one as she confirmed the Celebrity Big Brother star had been put into an induced coma as she asked fans for their prayers.
It read: “Last night Lauren had a seizure and doctors have had to put her into an induced coma to get it under control.
“Lauren needs all your support and wishes, she loves you all.”

Many social media users rushed to the Twitter comments to share their wishes for good health for the reality star.
@Kiplingbags22 said: “Sending much love to Lauren. Also for all your family as it must be so hard for you all x.”
@Katsitter added: “Oh no, I’ve seen a few of her posts recently & thought she was beginning to recover well. Sorry, to hear she’s had a bad turn..fingers crossed it’s just a setback, best wishes.”
@Tkb66 commented: “So sorry to hear this news about Lauren. Sending all my love to Lauren and her family, and praying for a fast full recovery. With all my love and prayers, Teresa.”
The sad news comes after Harries posed for photos in hospital, sharing a glimpse into her recovery.
Harries’ mother shared an update just two days ago of the struggle she was having seeing her daughter “hurting”.
She wrote: “One of the scariest experiences of a mother’s life, seeing your child hurting. All I wanted to do was swap places with Lauren.
“This is just after her brain surgery, even then we had no idea if we’d ever get our Lauren back again. Seeing her like this was terrifying.
“She has been so brave and I am so proud of her for all she’s been through. We love you so much Lauren. Xxxx.”
Earlier this month, Harries took to her social media pages to tell fans she had nearly died as a result of her illness.
The TV personality wrote: “Hello my stars. Well I’m still in the hospital.
“Nearly dying makes you appreciate every moment. So enjoy the sunshine and know that I love you. Light, love and peace.”
