Clint Eastwood is arguably the most well-known Western cinema actor, making his name in the TV series Rawhide and films including Dirty Harry.
Outside of his Hollywood career, the on-screen star has enjoyed numerous casual and serious relationships, has been married twice and has borne eight children with six women.
The actor was an unabashed ladies’ man in Hollywood, living with mistresses while he was still married.
But just who were Eastwood’s many loves and how did the actor find out about his secret child?
Eastwood fell in love with a model named Maggie Johnson – who he met on a blind date when he was 23 years old.
Five years before the actor received his breakthrough role in the CBS series Rawhide, Eastwood and Johnson got engaged and married just six months after their first date.
During their engagement, the actor had an affair with a woman in Seattle, who got pregnant and subsequently gave up their child for adoption.
Eastwood and Johnson separated in 1964 after he had another affair with stuntwoman Roxanne Tunis, but the pair briefly rekindled their romance and welcomed children Kyle Eastwood in 1968 and Alison Eastwood in 1972.
The Hollywood actor met Tunis on Rawhide and she was a regular stuntwoman as well as an extra on the show.
It didn’t take long for the pair to hit it off and the pair’s affair lasted into the 1970s and Tunis gave birth to Eastwood’s second child, Kimber Lynn Eastwood, in 1964.
Years before his divorce from Johnson was finalised, Eastwood had moved on – with whispers of a romance between him and blonde co-star Sondra Locke emerging shortly after the start of filming their second movie together, The Gauntlet.
Locke and Eastwood moved in together and made four more films together in the next 12 years before their highly-publicised split.
The Gran Torino actor had a romance with flight attendant Jacelyn Reeves while he was with Locke.
Reeves went on to give birth to their son Scott Eastwood in 1986 and daughter Kathryn Eastwood in 1988.
Reeves and Eastwood called it quits in 1990 with their children being brought up in Hawaii but they maintained a relationship with their father.
After the actor ended his relationships with Locke and Reeves, he began dating actress Frances Fisher after they met on the set of a film together.
The pair lived together for five years and Frances gave birth to their daughter Francesca Fisher-Eastwood in 1993 but the pair split.
He later had a relationship with TV news anchor Dina Ruiz after she was assigned to interview him about the film Unforgiven.
The pair married three years later in 1996 and Dina gave birth to their daughter Morgan that same year.
The couple filed for divorce after 17 years of marriage in 2013.
Meanwhile, Eastwood had fathered a secret eighth child before he was famous.
Laurie Murray, 69, whose mum gave her up for adoption without telling Clint she was pregnant, reconnected with the Hollywood actor over 30 years ago.
Attending the Los Angeles premiere of his movie, The Mule, in 2018 Laurie introduced herself as Laurie Eastwood.
His youngest child, Morgan Eastwood confirmed Laurie is indeed her sibling in a social media snap from a family reunion.
“SO RARE for all 8 Eastwood siblings to be in one room!!!’ she captioned the shot on Instagram at the time.
