David Beador‘s estranged wife, Lesley Beador, claims she was the one who filed for divorce from the Real Housewives of Orange County alum — not the other way around.
Following claims of David being the one to pull the plug on their two-year marriage, Lesley took to her Instagram Story, where she told her followers that tabloids have gotten it wrong and proclaimed that she is the petitioner in their latest divorce case.
“Tabloids have it wrong. He was served divorce papers by me [first]. I am the petitioner,” Lesley stated on June 8, adding that the message is “all I have to say until this is over.”
Lesley’s post came just hours after she seemingly shaded David, who filed for full custody of their two-year-old daughter Anna, with a post about ex-husband Eriks Pukke‘s co-parenting skills.
Along with a pic of her son, Andris, graduating from the eighth grade, Lesley wrote a tribute to her former spouse.
“Special thanks to this guy for co-parenting peacefully all these years,” she shared.
Around the same time, she encouraged her online audience to give love with a quote from Bianca Sparacino.
“Be the person who cares. Be the person who makes an effort, who loves without hesitation. Be the person who makes people feel seen. There is nothing stronger than someone who continues to stay soft in a world that hasn’t always been kind to them,” the message read.
As RHOC fans will recall, David filed for divorce from Lesley in September of last year but ultimately withdrew the petition. Then, in May, he filed a new set of documents, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason behind his latest split from Lesley and giving a separation date of May 23.
Since their most recent breakup, David has been seen spending time with ex-wife Shannon Beador, the mother of his three oldest daughters, Sophia, 21, and twins Stella and Adeline, 18, at The Quiet Woman restaurant in Orange County.
