For Stallone’s daughters, the dating scene has been quite daunting, largely due to their protective father who knows how to make an impression. This overprotective behavior began as early as fifth grade when a classmate sought Sophia’s help with history homework. Sophia recalled in an interview, “My Dad told him I was in Egypt… for two years.”
Things have only become more challenging when it comes to bringing dates home. During their interview with TODAY, Sistine Stallone shared an incident when her date is about to kiss her for the first time, glanced up at their balcony, and exclaimed, “Oh my God. What is that?” Turns out, her date had caught a glimpse of her father’s silhouette through the window, leading him to quickly flee.
“He’s so cinematic in the most unnecessary reasons. And let me tell you, this kid jumps in the car, went down the driveway, never saw him again.” she shared.
Sophia Stallone echoed her sister’s sentiments, describing how their father would transform into a full-on Rambo figure whenever they would bring a boy home. “It has been a bit of a struggle for my sisters and I to even find a relationship,” Sistine said.
“Not only do we have Stallone attached to our last name, but my dad is also very overprotective and quite intimidating. Now that we’re older and are currently in relationships, you’d think that he would really want to make that effort to get to know the boyfriend and that hasn’t exactly happened yet.”
In response, Sylvester Stallone remained steadfast in his approach, assuring his daughters that he is helping them by getting rid of “creeps.” During an appearance on TODAY, Sylvester Stallone explained his skepticism regarding the men that his daughters’ date, “I don’t trust their intentions. Because I know men.”

Sylvester Stallone And His Daughters Shared Their Thoughts About Their Reality Show Being Compared To The Kardashians
When asked about comparisons to the popular show The Kardashians, Sylvester Stallone expressed his admiration for their success and originality but emphasized that their approach would be different. He stated in an interview with Reuters, “You don’t try to copy someone. The Kardashians are who they are, and we are who we are. Our aim is to provide the audience with a unique and diverse experience.”
Sistine Stallone echoed his sentiments regarding the Kardashians. “They’ve done it so right. It works for them, and there would be no point copying them,” she told ET Online. Stallone agreed with her, emphasizing the importance of staying true to oneself and embracing authenticity. “That’s who we are,” he affirmed.
The renowned filmmaker also discussed his transition into reality TV after a long and prominent career in the film industry. “This would be great to share this notoriety with a reality show while you’re still relevant. I love my daughters, I love my wife, and I wanted to share that.” Stallone shared with ET Online. “It’s something that I think is entertaining.”
The Stallone family clarified that their show would lean more towards being a docuseries rather than a traditional reality series. They aim to present themselves as fully vulnerable and honest as they allow cameras to capture their lives in The Family Stallone.
Sylvester Stallone Warned His Daughters About The Public Attention That Comes In Starring In Their Reality Show
Before his influencer daughters convinced him to bring cameras into their own home, Stallone, never considered starring in a reality show. “I was nervous. It was like, ‘Reality? I don’t know if I fit into that world,'” However, his love for his daughters triumphed, and he decided to embark on this new venture. “I’d do anything for my daughters. And I’m glad I did.” the actor revealed.
During their family’s appearance on TODAY, Stallone also discussed how he had warned his daughters about the public attention they would receive once their family’s reality show premiered. “I said, ‘Your quiet time is over, and once you’re exposed out there, it’s out there.'”
When asked about the most challenging aspect of his relationship with his wife and daughters, Stallone humorously remarked that he could never win an argument with them. However, he quickly shifted to the positive side, sharing his adorable bond with his daughters, and the best part of living in a household with four women. “They’re just funny. They’re outgoing. They’re not silent by any means, and they express themselves, which is good.”
According to Paramount+, The Family Stallone will be renewed for another season following its extraordinary achievement after its debut on May 17. The premiere of the reality series shattered records. It claimed the title of being the top original reality series premiere on the streaming service, within just one week of its initial airing.
