The Baldwins are a huge family, but no one has quite as many children as Alec Baldwin. Over the course of two marriages, the actor welcomed eight children.
He’s also got a very famous niece, Hailey Baldwin. Now a world-famous supermodel, she isn’t afraid to let people into her personal life, including plenty of personal photos with her husband, Justin Bieber. But Hailey’s extended family isn’t as regularly seen in her online feeds, sparking the question whether she’s close to her cousins or not.
Hailey Bieber Has A Celebrity Family
Alec is part of the famous Baldwin family, and he’s one of four brothers who got into the entertainment industry. His brothers include Daniel, William, and Stephen Baldwin, the father of Hailey Baldwin (now Bieber). Stephen is known for his roles in movies like 8 Seconds (1994) and The Usual Suspects (1995). He’s been married to Kenya Baldwin, a Brazilian graphic designer, and they have two daughters, Hailey and Alaia.
Alec has given Stephen’s children lots of cousins. The actor has a daughter, Ireland Baldwin, 27, from his marriage to Kim Basinger. He went on to remarry Hilaria Thomas (now Baldwin) in 2012 and they have seven children together.
Hailey may have eight cousins through her uncle Alec, but she has others through her dad’s other brothers as well as on her mother’s side. Needless to say, that’s a lot of cousins to keep up with. So, even though they have a large family, it doesn’t mean Hailey is close to her cousins.
With 49.4 million followers on Instagram lone, Hailey is an active figure on social media. She often posts friends as well as snaps featuring her husband, Justin Bieber. But it’s a rarity to see the model post about her family.
Nevertheless, the model is reportedly close to her immediate family. For example, in February 2021, it was reported that her husband lent her father money amid financial difficulties.
“It’s no secret that her dad, Stephen, is terrible with money,” a source said. “He’s defaulted on mortgages, had run-ins with the IRS and filed for bankruptcy.”
They continued, “Justin has so much money, he doesn’t know what to do with it. So, he’s happy to help out any way that the can.”

However, Hailey and her father have also disagreed on politics, which has apparently put a strain on their relationship. “I love my father, he’s an amazing dad, but we so strongly disagreed on [the 2020 election],” Hailey has told The Times.
With a tenuous relationship with her own father, having a close one to her uncles may be more difficult. Alec and Hilaria haven’t been featured on Hailey’s social medias and neither have their kids. But it seems that Hailey has been close to Alec’s daughter from his first marriage, Ireland.
The girls are only a year a part and grew up together, which explains their closeness. Like Hailey, Ireland is a model. So, they’ve been invited to the same events and work as well as socialize within the same circle.
The two are so close that Ireland even served as a bridesmaid in Hailey’s wedding.
Hailey isn’t shy to share photos with her loved ones, like her husband and friends, so her social media habits seem to speak volumes about who she’s close to… and who she isn’t. If she does see Alec and his family regularly, Hailey isn’t posting about it online.
Hailey And Justin Bieber Admit They Want To Have Kids Soon
Alec and Hilaria’s seven children are all under the age of nine, while Hailey is in another phase of life at the age of 26. The age gap could make it hard for Hailey to bond with her young cousins, explaining why they don’t seem close.
But it’s not because Hailey doesn’t love young children. She and Justin have both been vocal about wanting to start a family of their own. However, don’t expect the couple to have kids just yet. Though they want a family, Justin revealed in February 2022 that Hailey didn’t feel ready yet.
“I’d love to have myself a little tribe, but it’s her body and whatever she wants to do,” he said. “There’s not really an issue, but I think Hailey still has some things she wants to accomplish as a woman. And I think she just is not ready yet, and I think that’s okay.”
Justin and Hailey seem busy with his younger siblings, who often make an appearance on their social media accounts. If Hailey shares photos of them when she sees them, it’d suggest she would do the same if she saw Alec’s children. But with the exception of Ireland, Alec’s kids aren’t featured on the model’s social media.
