Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green have been open about their journey to peacefully co-parenting their children. Despite ending their 14-year relationship in May 2020, the two have the utmost respect for each other and the time they share with their children.
Post-divorce, the two have incredibly hectic schedules. The ex-couple shares custody of their three children, Noah Shannon Green, Bodhi Ransom Green, and their youngest Journey River Green. Their busy schedules have made this a bit challenging, but the pair have learned ways to work around them. The couple is incredibly protective of their children, as well, rarely posting pictures of them. With both parents seemingly always working, it begs the question, does their youngest son, Journey, spend more time with his mom Megan Fox or his dad Brian Green?
Who Does Journey River Green Spend More Time With, Megan Fox Or Brian Austin Green?
It seems that Journey River Green spends an equal amount of time with Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green. The parents have tried their best to shield their children from any negativity that could come from the breakup. They also don’t have any resentment against each other.
“Neither one of us did anything to each other,” said Brian during an episode of his podcast. “She’s always been honest with me and I’ve always been honest with her. And I know she will always love me and I know as far as a family, what we have built is really cool and really special. So we decided let’s make sure we don’t lose that. That no matter what we’re always friends with each other and we’re a united front with the kids,” Brian explained.
Brian and his partner Sharna Burgess welcomed a son, Zane, in June 2022. Brian has said that all three of his children with Megan, including Journey, are obsessed with their new baby brother. He shared that Megan has been nothing but supportive, as well, about their expanding family. When he was asked if he thought his newborn gave his ex baby fever, he jokingly responded that his son would give anyone baby fever. “She thought he was the cutest thing. I love that. And she’s always asking the kids and about him, like how he’s doing,” he said about Megan.
Megan Moved Her Whole Family Because She Felt Journey River Green Wanted Them To Move
Megan Fox shared that her family was moving after Journey was born because she felt the baby wanted them to move. During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Megan said, “I feel like you receive messages from the child if you’re open to it. Like for this instance, this baby wanted me to live somewhere else, so we’re moving to a whole different place in Los Angeles because I feel like that’s where this baby wants to be raised.”
Megan posted a glimpse of baby Journey on her Instagram a few months after giving birth to him, and has showcased him in pictures with his brothers throughout the years. One of the cutest moments fans have seen with Journey was when he made a surprise appearance in Megan’s interview with the Today Show. She was filming the interview at her home and Journey slyly scooted himself into the shot. It seems he really is a free spirit.

People were confused about who the father of Journey was, originally, as Brian and Megan were supposedly broken up. The two had made up behind closed doors, however, and tried to make things work. Despite their best efforts, the two found themselves happier apart. During an episode of his podcast, Brian explained that the distance between the two actors became “palpable” after Megan returned from a five-week movie shoot.
Since their breakup, Megan has become the face of PDA with her now fiancé Machine Gun Kelly. The two are knowingly obsessed with each other, with Megan even commenting once on Machine Gun Kelly’s Instagram post “kill me or get me pregnant.”
Machine Gun Kelly seemingly acknowledged that the couple had a miscarriage after dedicating a line in his live performance to their “unborn child.” While the couple has never confirmed or denied the rumor, fans were quick to offer sympathies to both the artists.
Megan Fox Is Raising Her Three Sons In A Gender-Neutral Environment
While Megan and Brian rarely share photos of their sons, the ones they have shared featured the three boys with long hair. Their hairstyles prompted questions about the kids’ gender from the public. When Noah was pictured wearing a dress, she received a lot of hate from the public. But rather than changing her parenting style to meet the needs of the public, Megan chose to speak out about the importance of letting children be who they are supposed to be.
“When I became pregnant with Noah, I could feel, through my mother’s intuition I suppose, that he was not subscribing to gender stereotypes, so I decided to provide an environment for him early on that would allow him to discover how he wanted to express himself,” said Megan in an interview with Glamour UK.
She further explained that she lets her kids choose what they play with, regardless of the “gender” associated with the toy. “If a boy loves princesses and a girl loves baseball, that’s not indicative of their sexuality. It’s indicative of their communication and creative expression. We can’t limit children by telling them how they should play,” said Megan to Glamour UK.
Megan isn’t the only parent speaking out about raising their children without gender stereotypes. Dax Shepard asked Brian Austin Green if other people’s comments about their children bothered him during an interview, to which Brian confidentiality responded no. Speaking specifically about his son Noah, he said, “I’ve heard from some people that they don’t agree with him wearing dresses. To them I say, I don’t care. He’s 4 and if he wants to wear it then he wears it.”
He doubled down on the support of his children’s freedom to express themselves, saying, “It’s his life, they’re not my clothes. I feel like at 4 at 5, that’s a time when he should be having fun. He’s not harming anyone wearing a dress. So if he wants to wear a dress, good on him”
