This achievement marks it as the first primetime show to reach this impressive milestone, continuing its legacy under the hosting of Julie Chen Moonves.
The Big Brother 28 House Takes The Houseguests Through Time
Each room within the Big Brother 28 house reflects the innovative time travel theme. The Time-Bending Entryway, for instance, welcomes houseguests with a bold faux-neon sign amidst a chaotic cluster of clocks, immediately conveying that time in the house is disjointed, capricious, and perpetually shifting.
The Living Room of Eras features 17-foot gothic windows and oxblood stone walls, which blend classic and industrial design. The living room showcases relics from across history, including a triceratops skull and royal crown jewels, which remind everyone that "anything from any era could shape the game."
Nostalgic Trophies, including a 1940s jukebox and an '80s transparent phone highlight "a surreal mix of decades, celebrating nostalgia as past, present and future collide inside the BB house."
In the Relic Lab Hallway, the iconic time laser from Big Brother 25 returns, and takes its place next to "quirky failed inventions including a pogo stick, keytar and more all displayed as relics of past experiments."
The Clockwork Bathroom features gears and intricate mechanical details, "while sub-atomic-inspired lighting fixtures create a visually stunning, otherworldly atmosphere."
The Artifact Bedroom has room for five houseguests, and features two mysterious doorways: one to the past, and one to the future.
In the Futuristic Sleep Pods Room, houseguests will find pod beds, organic ladders, and nebula visuals, which offer "a calm, futuristic escape from the chaos of the game."
The Upstairs Lounge includes vintage tech on shelves and massive arched windows that overlook the living room, making it "a prime vantage point for eavesdropping." The custom-built sofa is "perfectly suited for both strategizing and showmancing."
In the Time-Lapse Gym, the walls are decorated with time-lapse photography, creating "the illusion of motion and progression, energizing Houseguests as they work out and reset."
The Clock Tower Feature ties the entire house together as "a dramatic clock tower crowns the space, a symbolic reminder that in this game, time is always ticking… but never predictable."
Big Brother 28's theme and house already seem to be epic, and have the potential to be the best in the show's history. The idea of traveling to the past adds more fuel to the fire of the rumors of returning houseguests for the season. Whatever happens in Big Brother 28, everyone should always remember to "expect the unexpected."
