There is drama afoot in the Garden State as part two of The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 13 reunion saw the ladies’ husbands begin to anticipate taking the floor with their respective wives.
As avid RHONJ fans are aware, the husbands of the Jersey iteration of the franchise are as integral to the show as their wives. As last week’s part two reunion episode began to wind down, cameras panned to Frank Catania, Joe Benigno, and Joe Gorga as they watched the explosive sit down from backstage. Frank then let the fellows know that he and Teresa Giudice’s husband, Luis “Louie” Ruelas, have some unfinished business to hash out.
Frank and Gorga commented on how “weird” and strenuous the latest season of RHONJ was compared to previous seasons. Benigno then quipped, “So let’s think — what’s the difference in 13 years?”
Frank wasted no time, responding that he thinks Louie’s addition to the group was the catalyst that set off the explosive chain reaction of events that led to the cast’s most divisive season yet.
“There has been such angry, angry arguments in this show, and it has never, ever gotten to the point it has gotten to right now — and the only thing different is Louie,” Frank said.
As fans are aware, Frank has a bone to pick with Louie. He revealed that not only did the businessman “f—ck [him] over,” but he also handled his son Frank Catania Jr.’s employment with his company in a disrespectful way.
“Normally, I keep my mouth shut. Not today,” Frank explained to Gorga and Benigno. “Guys, you know as well as I do, I would never chime in, I’d never jump in on the bandwagon, but the fact that he f-cked me this year for no reason and I did nothing but try to help him.”
As for how Louie professionally harmed Frankie, he said that Louie allegedly “closed down” his company with no notice and was MIA for days.
“He didn’t tell Frankie. Frankie was reaching out and called me and said, ‘Dad, what do I do? I’ve been calling Louie and he won’t respond,’” Frank alleged.

According to Frank Sr., Louie never gave any reason as to why he “shut down” his company.
“That’s the only thing I got a problem with,” Frank said.
This isn’t the first time Louie’s business practices and ethics have been called into question. Previously, he revealed he was asked to “step down” from his role at his startup marketing and media company, Digital Media Solutions, due to public backlash.
“Teresa didn’t want me to say this, but they let me go from my company from all the negative stuff that came up in the press because of my exes out there,” he said at the time.
The company has recently been sued for harassment.
At the end of May, Teresa revealed that Louie and his son, Louie Ruelas Jr., have begun the process of starting a new company, Men of Legacy. The company will attempt to bridge the gap between fathers and sons whose relationships are strained. There will apparently be a podcast as well.
“Louie, my husband, and my stepson [Louie Jr.], they’re starting a new company called Men of Legacy… They’re going to be helping fathers and sons that don’t have a good relationship to have a better relationship,” Teresa told Bravo’s The Daily Dish.
“They’re building a whole [podcast studio] — which I think is done any day now… in one of the garages [and] it looks beautiful,” she concluded.
Part three of The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 13 reunion airs Tuesday, June 13, at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
