Holly Willoughby, 42, is said to have no plans to quit This Morning after her former co-presenter and friend Phillip Schofield, 61, confessed to lying about his relationship with an ITV runner.
A source told The Sun that despite the furore surrounding Phillip’s admission to cheating on his wife Stephanie Lowe with a younger male colleague, Holly “has nothing to hide” and will be returning to the ITV show on Monday as scheduled.
The source said: “She has made it clear she was one of the people Phil lied to and she has nothing to hide.
“She will return to This Morning as planned on Monday and carry on like the professional she is.
“Holly has been affected by Phil’s actions and it has been very difficult. She is devoted to This Morning however and will continue to do the best job she can for them.”

Express.co.uk has contacted representatives for Holly for comment.
It comes after Holly and Phil’s former This Morning co-star Eamonn Holmes claimed she “won’t be back” on the show.
Speaking to Dan Wootton on GB News in an explosive interview, the disgruntled former This Morning presenter said: “Not only should Phillip go, but Holly should follow him close out the door.”
He then added: “I don’t think you’ll ever see Holly Willoughby back on the couch.”

Alison Hammond is reportedly set to join Holly on the This Morning sofa next week, before her co-hosts will be rotated.
Prior to her This Morning return, Holly took to Instagram to speak out on Phillip’s confession about his affair.
Holly said in an Instagram story post over the weekend: “It’s taken time to process yesterday’s news.
“When reports of this relationship first surfaced, I asked Phil directly if this was true and was told it was not. It’s been very hurtful to now find out that this was a lie.”
Her response came a day after Phillip had issued an apology for lying about the relationship to his ITV colleagues, his agents, and his family.
Phil said the consensual affair was “unwise, but not illegal” and “it is now over”, as he confirmed that he was resigning from ITV with immediate effect.
An ITV Spokesperson told Express.co.uk on Saturday: “Further to our statement last night, ITV can confirm that when rumours of a relationship between Phillip Schofield and an employee of ITV first began to circulate in early 2020 ITV investigated.
“Both parties were questioned and both categorically and repeatedly denied the rumours as did Phillip’s then agency YMU.
“In addition, ITV spoke to a number of people who worked on This Morning and were not provided with, and did not find, any evidence of a relationship beyond hearsay and rumour.
“Phillip’s statement yesterday reveals that he lied to people at ITV, from senior management to fellow presenters, to YMU, to the media and to others over this relationship.”
