It can be hard to tell how tall a celebrity is when watching them on the big screen. They may seem larger-than-life, but in person, fans are shocked to learn that their favorite Hollywood A-listers are actually shorter in person.
Whether they are starring in movies or music videos, it is difficult to tell a celebrity’s height. And, on a red carpet, stars are known to wear extravagant heels (such as Lady Gaga, who is actually just 5’1″), and shoe lifts, or shoe elevators, which give men an added few inches. 11 Zac Efron’s Height Is 5’8″
Zac Efron may be done with Hollywood, but he is still recognized as a successful actor who has been in the business for nearly 20 years. He gained massive attention thanks to High School Musical and continued to showcase his acting skills in films like 17 Again and Baywatch, opposite Dwayne Johnson.
While Efron may look like he is the same height as The Rock, he is actually just 5’8″, compared to Johnson, who is 6’3″. He is considered shorter than the average male which is said to be 5’10”.
10 Scarlett Johansson Stands At A Height Of 5’3″
The beautiful Scarlett Johansson has been in a ton of films, including The Avengers film series, and starred in her own Black Widow film in 2020. But it is hard to tell just how tall the starlet is when she is saving the world alongside Thor, Iron Man, Captain America, and Hulk.
In fact, most fans will be surprised to know that ScarJo is only 5’3″. When she is standing next to her male The Avengers co-stars, she appears to be almost as tall as they are.
9 Dave Franco’s Height Is 5’7″
Dave Franco began his acting career starring in films like Superbad, Charlie St. Cloud, and a supporting role in the comedy 21 Jump Street.
However, unlike his brother James Franco who stands at 5’11, Dave is on the shorter side with a height of 5’7″. Dave is actually the shortest of the three famous brothers, with his older brother, Tom Franco, standing at 6’1″.
8 Daniel Radcliffe’s Height Is Shockingly Only 5’5″
Daniel Radcliffe is on the shorter side compared to other Hollywood actors, standing at 5’5″. However, that did not stop him from earning the coveted role of the beloved Harry Potter and the eight films that followed. In fact, Radcliffe has addressed his height in interviews and is not shy talking about his stature.
When Playboy asked if his height hurt his career in Hollywood, he shared, “I don’t think so. Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise have very different careers, and they’re both the same height as I am.”
