The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Star Kyle Richards is finally on her way to finding some sense of peace.
After a harrowing and tense season 12 reunion that left her in tears amid her “disgusting” on-going feud with older sister, Kathy Hilton, Kyle is trying to get herself back on track.
According to Kyle, she has found herself in a better space mentally, noting that she wants to move on from the dark reunion and put the whole situation behind her.
“Weeks after [the reunion], I’m obviously way better,” Kyle told People. “I was not in a good place for a while after that, to be honest, but I’m slowly coming out of that. And time heals all wounds.”
“I’m just hoping to eventually get to a better place and put that behind me,” she added.
The reunion was apparently so dark that for the first time in RHOBH history, the cast did not take a cast picture together or do the obligatory post-reunion toast, nor did anyone get together after the reunion taping.
“It was the first reunion where we don’t go out after and have dinner or grab a drink or do a group photo or a group hug. There was none of that. So that sort of tells you how it ended,” Kyle explained.
The reunion did have one special highlight for Kyle. Her Halloween costar and friend, Jamie Lee Curtis, made a surprise appearance and even gave Kyle a “pep talk” ahead of the reunion taping.
“She kind of gave me a pep talk about what she thinks of me as a person and not to forget it. And it’s never lost on me that she makes the time and the effort to do that for me because she always does.”

In other news, Kyle’s husband, Mauricio Umansky, is gearing up to release his first book titled The Real Deal, and he’s super “nervous” for Kyle to read it.
“My wife’s a mentor,” Mauricio told People. “She hasn’t read it. I sent it to her yesterday to read for the first time. I am [nervous]. She’s going to read my perception of a bunch of different things.”
The Agency CEO said that he wants to share his life experiences, including his tenure on RHOBH, with a larger audience, as well as details regarding his fallout with Kathy’s husband, Rick Hilton.
“My life has been full of amazing insights and lessons,” Mauricio explained. “I teach and share my life lessons. Whether it has to do with business, relationships, as a father, as a husband, as a CEO, or as a real estate agent — I share these things with The Agency all the time. I feel like I have a lot to share, and I want to share it with a broader audience.”
He also revealed that the name of the book was a nod to RHOBH.
“I mean, it’s real estate. It’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. It’s just the real deal. It’s [an] unfiltered, real deal.”
The Real Deal comes out in April of next year.
Part two of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 12 reunion airs next Wednesday night at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
