It was a messy separation for Sandra Bullock and Jesse James, one that was plastered all over the headlines. Jesse James’ career changed since the divorce, especially when it came to his personal life.
Sandra Bullock was able to find love again with Bryan Randall, but it seems as though she’s still protective over her privacy, given that the Bryan may have signed an NDA.
We’ll take a look back at how it all went down between the two, and how Jesse James owned up to all the speculation. We’re also going to take a look at why James left Hollywood after the split for Austin, Texas.
As for Bullock, she decided to stay in Hollywood, however dealing with the divorce wasn’t easy for the actress, who suffered behind the scenes.
At the time, Jesse James and Sandra Bullock seemed to be Hollywood’s power couple, adored by millions. However, in 2010, the year Sandra Bullock took home an Oscar for The Blindside, their marriage came to an end after five years. Infidelity was the reasoning, as several women stepped up and admitted to having a relationship with Jesse James.
To James’ credit, he admitted to his wrongdoings.
“Yeah, I did cheat on my wife, yeah,” James told the website. “I stood up and took accountability for it and apologized. And that’s end of story.”
He continued, “In general, both women and men cheat. It’s part of life. It’s like people love to see you fall. And the farther you get, the higher you get, the more they love it. … I look at myself now and I look at how I was feeling then, and I think I was completely overreacting as far as letting it really get to me.”
Following the relationship coming to an end, James made some major changes to his life, including getting out of Hollywood for good.

Jesse James Moved Away From Hollywood To Texas Following His Split From Sandra Bullock
According to Jesse James, a lot of good came out of the split. Among some of the things James grew frustrated with, was the constant paparazzi attention surrounding his family during his days with Bullock.
The split caused James to leave LA, and move to their former home off the map in Austin.
“A lot of good happened out of [the end of my marriage] because it helped me focus on being a dad more, it helped me focus on doing the right thing and being myself, and getting out of L.A. and getting a better life for my kids,” said James.
James would remarry three years after his divorce, this time tying the knot with Alexis DeJoria. At the time, James made mention that he was in it for the long-run, finally finding his person.
“We like the same stuff, the same music, the same everything. We like all these things. It makes me look back at other relationships and be like, I was an idiot! What was I thinking? That was never going to work. But I guess that’s how you learn, you know.”
However, like his other relationships, his time with DeJoria recently came to an end, with infidelity once again as the cause for the divorce. To make things that much worse, DeJoria was pregnant at the time.
Sandra Bullock Was Blindsided And Heartbroken Over The Divorce From Jesse James
As if the split from Jesse James wasn’t hard enough for Bullock, she also wondered how her son would’ve reacted to the news.
“I mean, so much had happened,” Bullock said. “How do you process grief and not hurt your child in the process? It’s a newborn. They take on everything that you’re feeling. So my obligation was to him and not tainting the first year of his life with my grief.”
Bullock has kept her personal life very quiet in the recent years. However, she is quietly dating and raising her children alongside Bryan Randall. Both have clearly moved on since the relationship. Bullock instead decided to remain in Hollywood, with several stunning homes, including one in Beverly Hills.
