Justin Bieber ‘tired’ of people ‘weaponizing’ his actions into ‘something bad’ after smoking in front of brother

Justin Bieber is reportedly fed up with critics “weaponizing” his actions into “something bad” after he was caught smoking weed in front of his teenage brother, Jaxon Bieber, during the second weekend of Coachella.

“Yes, he smokes weed like everyone else. But everything he does is being weaponized against him,” an insider told People Tuesday, explaining the pop star was “having fun” and “vibing.”

“It’s not like his son, Jack, is at these events. And his brother’s a teenager,” the source continued. “Justin’s dad came into town to bring [Jaxon] to Coachella after he saw how much fun Justin and Hailey had the first weekend.”

“Look on his socials, he had an amazing time,” the insider added. “They’re just tired of people turning everything into something bad.”

The source also addressed rumors that Justin’s wife, Hailey Bieber, is ready to call it quits on their nearly seven-year marriage amid concerns about the singer’s well-being.

“Hailey is not on the verge of wanting a divorce or leaving him,” the insider claimed. “It’s just completely untrue. If anything she’s sad about how hard everyone is being on him now that he finally is coming back out of his shell.”

However, a second source claimed the Rhode founder has “been in tears” over Justin’s recent behavior.

“Things have gotten bad quickly,” the insider said. “She’s genuinely scared something bad is going to happen to Justin.”

Nevertheless, Hailey, 28, is said to be “very loyal” to Justin, 31.

“She’s not walking away, but she knows something has to change,” the source added.

“Her focus is raising Jack in a stable environment. She’s drawn a line around what she’s willing to tolerate. She means the world to Justin. They have quietly weathered more than most couples ever do.”

Reps for Justin and Hailey weren’t immediately available to Page Six for comment.

Justin’s behavior has raised eyebrows since February, when he was seen smiling big and strangely moving his body at Hailey’s Rhode pop-up event in Los Angeles.

Afterward, the Grammy winner’s rep slammed “harmful” allegations of drug use, saying the rumors were “exhausting and pitiful.”

However, Justin has continued to spark concern among fans, including over the weekend at Coachella when he was seen smoking at a party and bizarrely dancing shirtless.

Still, he and Hailey — who welcomed their son, Jack, in August 2024 — have remained a united front.
