Kerry Katona catapulted to fame, and fortune, in her teens as part of the pop group Atomic Kitten, but the singer fell on difficult times during the pandemic as shenow revealed: “I was skint, I was struggling, I couldn’t pay my rent.”

The 42-year-old first resorted to selling family mementos, like the “massive jukebox” that she was gifted by her former husband Brian McFadden for their wedding in 2002.

In 2004 the pop icons suffered a tumultuous split, where Kerry recalled the only things she took were “the kids and that jukebox”.

While she estimated the sentimental item was worth around £16,000, she had to “sell it for £1,900 to pay the rent”.

With three daughters to care for as the lockdowns continued, the media personality decided to go back to the raunchy industry that helped her buy her own flat at the age of 17 and started her now notoriously racy OnlyFans account.

In a candid conversation about her r-rated work, which the singer claims has made her hundreds of thousands of pounds over the last three years and helped buy the £3million mansion her family now lives in, Kerry told The Sun that she simply enjoys doing it.

She explained: “I thought ‘oh well let’s get me t**s out. I used to, so why not do it again’ and it was the best thing I ever did.

“I just took some pictures upstairs, I love it!”

Kerry recalled her very first OnlyFans photoshoot, explaining that it was just in the hallway of her family home with her eldest, 21-year-old Molly, behind the camera.

When asked if her fiance, Ryan Mahoney, has any qualms about her work, Kerry simply declared: “He takes all the pictures for me, why would he have a problem?

“It’s a job, I’m selling a fantasy. It’s a business at the end of the day.”

However, as her children grow older she admitted she wouldn’t feel entirely okay if they decided to follow in her salacious footsteps, but added: “What could I say? Nothing. I’d guide them. It’s different when it’s your own kids but what could I do?”
