MAFS’ Michael Brunelli slammed for sharing ‘disgusting’ video of himself ogling other pregnant women

Michael Brunelli’s latest online stunt has spectacularly backfired after he shared a video of himself looking at racy online pictures of pregnant women on Tuesday. 

The tongue-in-cheek clip shows the Married At First Sight star scrolling through the images on Instagram while his pregnant fiancée Martha Kalifatidis sat nearby, seemingly unaware of what he was looking at. 

During the skit, Martha casually asks, ‘Michael, what are you doing?’ to which he replies: ‘Oh, just checking the basketball scores.’

At that moment, the personal trainer zoomed into a photo of what looked to be pregnant Emilee Hembrow, the sister of influencer Tammy Hembrow. 

‘Oh yeah… who’s winning?’ Martha asked as Michael scrolled to another photo of a pregnant woman. 

‘The Lakers,’ he muttered.

The clip ended with Martha’s father Theo bursting into the room and lambasting the pair for having ‘rocks in their heads’, but failing to explain why he was upset

Martha then nonchalantly asked Michael to show her a picture of the Lakers’ gold jerseys, forcing him to quickly switch tabs on his phone and remove evidence of what he was actually looking at. 

The clip ended with Martha’s father Theo bursting into the room and lambasting the pair for having ‘rocks in their heads’, but failing to explain why he was upset. 

Michael, who is living with Martha and her parents in Melbourne, captioned the video: ‘This unexpectedly ended with Martha’s dad… wait for it [melting face emoji]’.

Michael returned to Instagram on Wednesday to clarify that the clip was indeed fake after he was branded ‘disgusting’ by fans who mistakenly believed it to be real 

Michael resposted a selection of comments posted by fans who were offended by his video

‘So last night I posted a video… as a joke. On Insta 99% of you got that she ‘caught’ me looking at other pregnant women [nervous laugher emoji],’ he wrote, adding: ‘The throw off was Theo, which was 100% real and unplanned.’

However, Michael did admit that Theo’s cameo was completely real, but had nothing to do with the skit. 

In a separate Instagram Story post, Michael explained that Theo was angry because he mistakenly thought Martha and Michael secretly replaced his dining room table with a new one.

‘It was actually a table we had bought for our Sydney house,’ Michael explained. 

‘We had to stop it getting delivered there because we moved away and then got it delivered here. And also we left the old table next to the new table and he almost walked into it. That’s it,’ the reality star insisted.
