Piers Morgan has doubled down on his criticism of singer Sam Smith, 31, after he previously claimed the Unholy hitmaker was “over-thirsty for attention” when they wore a black latex inflatable jumpsuit as they attended the Brit Awards earlier this year.

The 58-year-old had also slammed Madonna, 64, when he criticised her appearance at the Grammy Awards.

The Uncensored presenter took to Twitter today and addressed the pair’s new duet titled Vulgar.

In view of his 8.4 million followers, Piers reacted to a message that read: “Madonna and Sam Smith will release their song ‘VULGAR’ on June 9th.”

The former GMB presenter tweeted: “I’m not sure what Hell looks like but I’d lay good money it involves Madonna and Sam Smith performing an S&M themed duet called Vulgar.”

On Wednesday (May 31), Sam and Madonna confirmed the release of their upcoming collaboration, Vulgar.

The Like A Prayer hitmaker shared some artwork across her social media, showing a pair of tightly cinched black-and-white corsets underneath the duo’s initials — which were cheekily shortened to a simple “S&M.”

“VULGAR…………. new song out Friday June 9th @samsmith,” Madonna captioned the post.

The hotly anticipated release comes nearly four months after Sam sparked a “satanic” panic with their jaw-dropping performance at the Grammys in February.

Singing alongside collaborator Kim Petras, the Grammy-winning artist donned devil headgear in the horror movie-inspired performance, outraging conservatives like Ted Cruz with their “demonic” themes.

More recently, Sam was forced to suddenly cancel their concert at the AO Arena in Manchester after just a few songs last Wednesday.

They released a statement at the time, insisting they could not go on after noticing ‘something was really wrong’ with their voice.

Sam explained they required vocal rest otherwise they could face permanent damage.

Meanwhile, Madonna is preparing for her own massive Celebration world tour.
