Erika Jayne is shutting down claims of a romance with attorney and rumored financial backer, Jim Wilkes.
Days after the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was photographed with Jim at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, where Erika will start her residency at the House of Blues in the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in August, she set the record straight about their relationship, via Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge‘s podcast, as Jim confirmed he’s married on Instagram.
“My wife and me. Having a nice moment,” Jim wrote in the caption of an Instagram photo on May 30, which was “liked” by the RHOBH cast member.
Jim also posted a photo of his wife, Trista Tauchas, holding their 14-year-old dog on Tuesday.
As RHOBH fans may have seen, Jim was recently accused of being involved in a gun-related incident with an unnamed woman, and of being in the midst of a split from Trista, who he reportedly took a restraining order against. However, his Instagram pics suggest that all is well between him and Trista currently.
Meanwhile, on Teddi and Tamra’s podcast, Teddi shared a statement from Erika in regard to the rumors after being questioned by her co-host.
“Is she in a romantic relationship with this guy or is he her attorney?” Tamra, of The Real Housewives of Orange County, asked on the May 30 episode of Two Ts in a Pod, via Instagram.
“I was like, ‘I just want to get to the bottom of this.’ So I sent Erika a text this morning. I was like, ‘So, tell it to me like it is.’ And she wrote, ‘Lol it’s absolutely ridiculous,’” Teddi revealed. “She does a smiley face and she writes, ‘Jim Wilkes is my lawyer and longtime family friend.’ And I believe her.”
“You heard it here first, people,” Tamra replied.
“You heard it here first!” Teddi agreed.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13 wrapped filming earlier this month and is expected to begin airing later this year on Bravo.
