Kyle Richards has recently expanded her real estate portfolio with the purchase of a new home in Tennessee.

Following her earlier comments about wanting to move away from Los Angeles, the 56-year-old star of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” opened up about her latest investment. Speaking at BravoCon, Kyle explained that she made this purchase “as a newly single woman,” and also shed light on her estranged husband Mauricio Umansky’s frequent outings.

“I just love real estate,” Kyle shared with The Daily Dish. “I genuinely am very passionate about that.”

Her passion for real estate is evident, as she owns properties across three states, including a home in Colorado.

According to Kyle, real estate is one of her “favorite things,” which is why she owns homes in three states, including Colorado.

“I just want to just do something that I, you know, as a newly single woman, can say, ‘This is something that I’m doing; it’s my investment,’” Kyle revealed. “Because even now, Mau will share things like, ‘Oh, I’m making an investment and these investments,’ and I’m like, ‘What can I do on my own that I can feel good about?’ And I’ve always been good at real estate, you know. I’ve chosen the majority of our homes, and it’s always worked out well for me, business-wise.”

“I feel pretty good about it,” she added. “People do stocks. They do other investments. Like, real estate is what I love … It’s the first thing I do when I wake up in the morning. People think I am looking through my emails. No, I am looking at real estate all the time. I know every market of every state you could imagine.”

Although Kyle may be getting ready to put down roots in Tennessee, that doesn’t mean she’s leaving Los Angeles. In fact, she revealed in October that it “wasn’t true” that she was selling her family home in Encino.

”I’m still here, my house is actually not for sale, and I don’t know where they come up with these things. But, yeah. I always wonder where these stories come from, but no. I did not sell my house,” she stated.

Meanwhile, on the December 11 episode of the RHOBH: After Show, Kyle opened up about Mauricio’s many outings since their split.

“Mau goes out a lot, and he actually said to me, you know, ‘I don’t wanna go home to an empty house. I don’t wanna go be by myself.’ So, that’s why he goes out more, which is understandable,” she shared.

That said, Kyle doesn’t feel the same way.

“I don’t go out as much. I’m just more discreet. I don’t need to go to the hot spots, and I’m also more aware,” she explained. “I don’t need to be out til 2 in the morning, leaving a club.”

“It’s taken him a while to get used to that, because he’s not used to being followed by paparazzi. So, that was new since our separation, and he had to learn that they’re actually watching and hiding,” she added.
