The brutal dig comes after, earlier this week, Ricky reacted to reports that James had been banned from a New York restaurant.
He took to Twitter to repost a tweet from a fan poking fun at the accusations, while featuring a clip from his Netflix show After Life, where Ricky’s character, Tony Johnson, mocked James.

The tweet, also published by SueTaylor_, included a clip from After Life and read: “James f*****g Corden. AfterLife @rickygervais. Worst. Dinner party. Ever.”
In the clip, Ricky’s character was quizzed on his five favourite famous people by colleague Kath (played by Diane Morgan), before saying James Corden was one of hers, to which Tony bluntly responded: “F*** me!”
