Channel 4 presenter Sarah Beeny, 51, has candidly opened up on her battle with breast cancer after going into remission.

After undergoing a double mastectomy, Sarah’s husband of 20 years Graham Swift jokingly compared her new breasts to “porn-star boobs”.

However, Sarah insists that her new boobs are “pretty similar to the old ones,” but added that they took her some getting used to.

The mum-of-four and star of Sarah Beeny’s New Life in the Country said of the surgery: “I’ve now got my fake boobs in and they’re pretty similar to the old ones, actually.

“They just took the old ones out of the inside and stuck some new innards in.

She added to The Sun: “It’s like restuffing a cushion . . . apart from the fact these ones feel a bit like memory foam, which is a bit weird.

“So they’re actually similar apart from the fact that when I lie down, they don’t fall to the side at all. They sort of stay there, like Belisha beacons.”

When Graham branded her reconstructed cleavage “porn-star boobs”, Sarah laughed along.

The star, who has been documenting her breast cancer battle via social media, was keen to reassure others who have received the same diagnosis that it is not a death sentence.

Despite bravely making light of her situation, Sarah went on to say that she is determined to make her remission news the “end point” of her cancer battle.

She told the publication: “If I’m honest, I consider this to be the end point.

“I need this to be the end for me and I need it to be the end for the kids and for Graham and our family.”

Sarah was not shocked by her initial diagnosis, as her mother Ann had tragically died of the disease when she was just 39, and the TV star was 10-years-old.

Sarah, who is mum to sons Billy, 19, Charlie, 17, Raffey, 15, and Laurie, 13, has been working on a new Channel 4 documentary, which follows her from her diagnosis to when she went into remission.

Sarah Beeny Vs Cancer shows the star reassuring herself that she wouldn’t die.

She says in the film: “I’m not going to die, you know.

“I’ve got a whole life where I’m needed. I’ve got four children. People need their mother. The truth is, I kind of needed my mother.”
