Marcus Rosner, known for his role in Sullivan’s Crossing, is set to headline a new Hallmark Channel film as part of the network’s annual Christmas in July lineup. Rosner made waves in the season 3 finale of Sullivan’s Crossing when his character, Liam Davies, was revealed to be married to Dr. Maggie Sullivan, portrayed by Morgan Kohan. Initially introduced as a summer fling for Maggie, Liam was revealed as much more, being her husband who was thought to have abandoned her after a war correspondent assignment. However, it was later disclosed that he had been held captive for three years.

As season 4 unfolds, Liam’s return has complicated Maggie’s relationship with Cal Jones, played by Chad Michael Murray. Despite her current relationship, Maggie’s feelings for Liam remain strong, especially after learning the truth about his disappearance. Their bond has deepened, culminating in a secretive kiss, adding further intrigue to the series. While Rosner’s character has stirred the dynamics on Sullivan’s Crossing, the actor is now venturing into a fresh project with Hallmark Channel.

In a recent announcement, Hallmark Channel revealed its upcoming programming schedule for Christmas in July. From June 26 to July 31, viewers can enjoy a collection of beloved holiday films from previous years. Starting on July 4, the channel will premiere a new original movie every Saturday night for four weeks. These movies will also be available for streaming on Hallmark+ the day after their TV debut.

The film also stars Kathryn Greenwood as Joanne, Cassidy’s mother and boss, and Skywalker Hughes as Lilly, Trey’s daughter.

In addition to Rosner’s movie, Hallmark Channel will air three more Christmas in July films. On July 4 at 8 p.m., the network will present Christmas Under Construction, starring Jessica Lowndes and Daniel Lissing. July 11 brings O Little Christmas Market, starring Katherine Barrell and Stephen Huszar. After Rosner and Lengies’ Snowbound for the Holidays on July 18, Love Under the Mistletoe, starring Jen Lilley and Nick Bateman will premiere on July 25.

In addition to Hallmark Channel’s four new movies, its Christmas in July programming will include Christmas at Sea season 2, available to stream exclusively on Hallmark+ beginning Wednesday, July 1. The series features coverage of Hallmark’s Christmas cruise to Cozumel, Mexico, which allows fans to meet their favorite Hallmark stars.

Christmas at Sea season 2 features Hallmark stars Benjamin Ayres, Jonathan Bennett, Rachel Boston, B.J. Britt, Wes Brown, Erin Cahill, Paul Campbell, Taylor Cole, Nikki DeLoach, Heather Hemmens, Tyler Hynes, Ginna Claire Mason, Brendan Penny, Kimberley Sustad, Andrew Walker, and Ashley Williams.

Sullivan’s Crossing’s Liam is a tortured character who Rosner plays with so much emotion and angst. He’s brought a lot of drama to the CW series. It’ll be exciting to see the actor in a more light-hearted role again in Snowbound for the Holidays. Rosner has starred in many feel-good Hallmark movies in the past, so he’s an expert in the genre. Rosner and the rest of the Hallmark family will bring so much joy to Christmas in July.

Sullivan’s Crossing airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
