A teenager accused of raping LSU student Madison Brooks before she was killed recorded a diss track where he called women ‘b*****s’ and laughed about a rival football player’s death, DailyMail.com can reveal.

Kaivon Washington, 18, one of four men charged in connection with Brooks’ rape, created the song with vulgar lyrics in the aftermath of Remy Hidalgo’s death in September 2020. Hidalgo was just 16 when he collapsed on a football field after suffering from heatstroke. He died a few days later.

The teenager’s mother, Ashley Roberson, has since branded Washington ‘evil’ for the diss track – and said that it points to his character.

‘When all of this first happened with Madi Brooks I wanted to just bring it up again to address what he was like and to get justice because he has just gotten away with so much,’ Roberson told DailyMail.com.

‘This isn’t rape, but it shows his character. I hope he realizes how many people he has hurt with this … What I don’t understand is why someone like Remy, who was a friend to everyone and brightened their day is taken from us when evil like him is lurking around in the world.’

Hildago had played against Washington previously when Denham Springs High took on Walker High School.

Roberson, 47, said that initially Washington approached her with condolences – before she discovered him laughing on the ‘diss track’.

On the audio, he can be heard laughing as he says ‘the sun left him dead’ in reference to Hidalgo, as well as saying ‘I got a Glock at home with lead. Anything I said for you purple and gold b*****, I don’t give a f*** about any of y’all.’

Purple and gold is a reference to Denham Springs, as that is the color of their football uniform.

Washington can then be heard saying ‘I will not be disrespected’ and continues to brag about having a gun and referring to women in a derogatory way.

Speaking to DailyMail.com, Ashley said: ‘They played football against each other, they were rivals but before after Remy passed, he was very pleasant and he told me how my son was wonderful, and he had a lot of respect for him.

‘It made it even more of a shock that this happened, Remy was loved by everyone and changed people’s lives – he brought light to the room.

‘To hear something like this was just devastating to me. There were pictures going round of Remy as well – of them mocking him.

Shocking incidents at LSU bar Reggie’s, where Madi Brooks was last seen

Reggie’s bar, an infamous Baton Rouge venue known for underage drinking and violence, has had its liquor license suspended again following the death of 19-year-old Madi Brooks.

The bar owner, Darin Adams, whose sports bar is known for its taxidermy animal heads and confederate flag décor, has refused to comment.

Adams has been in hot water before, with Baton Rouge police raiding the bar in July 2017 and suspending its license for 45 days, after 37 people were arrested – many of them for underage drinking.

In September 2015 a drunk 21-year-old was arrested for waving a loaded firearm at people, threatening to open fire.

The following month, a 19-year-old man was charged with rape after attacking an intoxicated woman who had become separated from her sister at the bar and was trying to find her way home.

And in January 2016, a star of the LSU football team, Dillon Gordon, 22, was stabbed multiple times in the bar.

In May 2022, 16-year-old Carltez Tucker was shot dead outside Reggie’s, and a 24-year-old woman was injured. Detectives arrested three and said they believed the shooting stemmed from a stolen firearm that Tucker had taken.

Roberson added that Washington said he ‘didn’t care’ when he was confronted by friends, and threatened to fight anyone who had an issue with his track.

”None of what he has been accused of surprises me. He was forced to come to me with an apology, not because he wanted to,’ she said.

‘I don’t care what anyone says, I don’t know how you can find this funny. My son passes away through no fault of his own doing what he loves and this boy is making fun of his death.

‘He also says graphic things about doing things to girls, and also threatens to shoot his teammates in the rap.

‘He may think it was funny, but it was very hurtful. People think it’s teenage stuff but it’s more than that.

‘From everything he has done it seems like there must be something wrong with him. He acts like this over and over, and the scary part is that he continues to be allowed to do these things.’

Washington has been charged with third-degree rape in the case of Madi, 19, who was killed after a group of men dropped her off in the middle of a road.

A 17-year-old boy has also been charged with third-degree rape, while Everett Lee, 28, and Casen Carver, 18, have been charged with being accessories to the incident

In pictures seen by DailyMail.com, Washington appears to be a party boy, despite being under the legal age of drinking.

Pictures show him partying with friends and posing for the camera, while another shows him topless and clutching an inflatable alien.

He also posted a video on TikTok where he admits that his ‘biggest fear’ is ‘not making it to heaven’ – with many users commenting that it has ‘come true’ since his arrest.

In several social media posts, he also talks of his love for god, claiming: ‘God helps me through everything – that’s why I’m so great.’

Ashley, who has set up a foundation in memory of her son, claims that she reached out to Washington’s mother following the ‘diss tape’ being made public, but she defended her son as a ‘pastor church leader’ who wouldn’t have done it maliciously.

She added: ‘I reached out to his mom, and she acted like she was concerned, and couldn’t understand it because he was a good person and a leader in the church.

‘It just isn’t the case; I’ve been told by people that she just lets him get away with things and do whatever he wants, so this behavior continues.

‘There were no repercussions for him. I told his school that it broke their cyberbullying policy and they said that there was nothing they could do.

‘A teacher has told me that she was scared of him, scared to turn her back on him because he threatened her.

‘His mother seems to stick up for him, he laughed in the song and it sounds like he laughed at Madi brooks too. It’s awful.

‘Does this sound like a good kid or a church leader? Does this sound like someone who wouldn’t possibly commit a crime like what was done to Madison Brooks?

‘Something needs to be done before someone else is hurt or killed. This is someone with no remorse for anyone or his own actions.’

Lawyers for Washington previously submitted video footage to the court in an attempt to prove that the drunk sorority girl was able to consent to the acts – but a judge felt it showed ‘criminality’.

A legal expert previously told DailyMail.com that the judge who oversaw the bond hearing made ‘inappropriate’ comments which could ‘taint the public opinion’ of the defendants.

Washington can reportedly be heard in the footage laughing at Madi as she slurs her words after the alleged anal rape.

Prosecutor Stuart Theirort said at a hearing on Tuesday that the state would be seeking upgraded charges of first-degree rape and plan to convene a grand jury in the case.

He has also been charged with the first-degree rape of another girl, dating back to 2020 when he was just 15.

The girl was 12 when he allegedly attacked her for over an hour during a pool party in Walker, where he pulled off her towel and raped her.

Washington remains in custody in Livingston Parish Jail, just a day after he was released on a $150,000 bond in relation to Madi Brooks.

Louisiana’s first-degree rape statute carries a mandatory life sentence without the possibility of parole.

Madi died after being hit by a ride-share car at 3am on January 15, when she was dropped off by the four men who had picked her up at a college bar.

Two Good Samaritans reportedly stopped to perform CPR on the sophomore LSU student after the collision at 3am.

East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner’s Office says they were guided by first responders on the phone in the pouring rain after Madi was hit by the ride-share car.

Her sorority wrote: ‘Madi was a bubbly, loving, and selfless friend. She left an indelible mark on our chapter, we cherish our memories together and we will never forget her. Our forever friend was also a hero, Madi donated her heart and kidneys to save others’

They confirmed that Madi Brooks died from ‘multiple traumatic injuries’ when she was hit by a car after allegedly being raped.

No further information is being released at this time, and police have confirmed that the driver of the vehicle will not be charged as he was not impaired and contacted emergency services immediately.

A memorial has been created for the ‘amazing young woman’ who had ‘limitless potential’ by her friends on the highway where she died.

The bar where Madi worked, according to several social media posts, has also had its responsibility for the incident called into question.

Surveillance footage surrounding Reggie’s bar, where the group met, shows Madi drunk and stumbling around, according to police documents.

The Louisiana ATC has confirmed that they have suspended the license of Reggie’s bar following the ‘seriousness of the allegations and potential threat to public safety’.

An attorney for the bar, Kris Perrett, confirmed in a statement that they are ‘fully cooperating with authorities’.

Legal documents seen by DailyMail.com reveal that Madi had 0.319g per cent of alcohol in her system – so high that toxicologists said she could have suffered from alcohol poisoning or loss of consciousness.

A lawyer for her family issued a statement saying: ‘She was raped. Rape is rape. It’s just a horrific, terrible situation.

‘And to the extent that those involved with the alleged rapist want to blame the victim and show up at press conferences and say things … we’re standing up for Madi. That’s not right.’

Officers say in their affidavit that at 1am Madi was seen sitting on a stool by the counter at the bar before stumbling, and got back to her feet with the help of the men.

At 1.34am she was seen sitting on a bench by the entrance door before falling again. The teenager approached her, removed her cap and helped her get to her feet.

The group was seen leaving the bar at 1.49am, with the vehicle last seen at 1.59am. Carver told police that the 17-year-old and Washington both had sex with the victim in the back seat of the car.

Madi was dropped off less than a ten-minute car journey from the bar, and just five miles from her sorority house, before being hit by the ride-share car at 2.50am.

Carver, who was driving the vehicle in which Madi was ‘raped’, told cops that he asked her where her friends were, but she said she did not know and appeared ‘drunk’.

He added that Madi gave ‘verbal consent five times’ to the 17-year-old before he had sex with her in the back of the car, with Washington swapping with the teenager to also have sex with the victim.

During his police interview, Carver denied having ever seen Madi before or knowing her but agreed to give her a ride.

Both Carver and Lee remained in the front of the car while the sex acts were being performed, with Carver telling them to ‘stop’ before dropping Madi off.

A post-mortem revealed that Madi had ‘injuries consistent with previous sexual assault anally’ as well as her injuries from the crash.

The fatal accident was the second collision on Burbank Drive, raising questions about the safety of the area.

Ethel Wesly, 71, was killed in the same week, with locals arguing that there needs to be more lighting, sidewalks and a lower speed limit.

More lighting is also planned for the entrance to the Pelican Lakes subdivision on Burbank where Madi was killed.
