Teresa Giudice Fires Back at Claims She Copied Melissa

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice is clapping back at criticism that she and her daughter, Gabriella Giudice, intentionally copied her estranged sister-in-law Melissa Gorga’s college acceptance “bed party” post that she made for her own daughter, Antonia Gorga.

Melissa was the first to make a congratulatory Instagram post celebrating Antonia’s acceptance to the University of Delaware. The photo shows Antonia holding a bedazzled bottle of champagne, and she was seated among a plethora of the college’s merch in their signature blue and yellow colors.

Not long after, Teresa uploaded an image of Gabriella’s bed party in celebration of her acceptance to the University of Michigan — whose colors are also blue and yellow. In a similar fashion to Antonia, Gabriella is also seen holding a glittering bottle of champagne, and she’s surrounded by similar items from her soon-to-be college on her bed.

Both ladies had bright balloon archways and the same brands of potato chips and sports beverages included in their layouts.

Teresa and Melissa also included the exact same blue and yellow heart emojis in their captions as well.

“Gabriella is off to the University of Michigan💙💛 I am so proud of you. I adore watching you work so hard for the things you want, and you deserve everything that is yet to come,” Teresa wrote as part of the caption.

The striking similarities did not go unnoticed by fans. One quipped, “Are we copying Melissa much lmao.” Another added, “Ummm this looks familiar.”

However, die-hard RHONJ fans will remember that Teresa actually hopped on the bed party fad train super early. Back in 2019, she made a post congratulating her eldest daughter, Gia, on her acceptance to Rutgers University back in 2019.

“No one’s copying off anyone. It’s a ‘thing’ now to have these ‘bed party’s’ [sic] celebrating your college decision. Gia, Melissa, and Teresa didn’t start this trend. So, everyone just relax,” one user commented.

Teresa was clearly reading the comments as she popped up in a reply to one fan, who wrote, “Everyone keeps saying she’s copying Melissa [but] remember Teresa did this first with Gia.”

The RHONJ OG responded, “thank you sweetheart.”

The similar Instagram posts come amid Teresa and Melissa’s ongoing feud that’s currently playing out on the RHONJ reunion. In the reunion, Teresa shockingly accused Melissa of turning her into the Feds years ago, which led to her serving prison time.

Compared to the family’s current drama, the competing Instagram posts seem trivial at this point.
