The Villa is reopening its doors for Season 2 of Love Island: All Stars! The British version of the popular dating competition returns for an all-stars edition, with the likes of Ekin-Su, Marcel Somerville, and Luca Bish returning to the iconic villa.

The reality TV show will once again be filmed at a luxury villa in South Africa for six weeks, as reported by The Daily Mail. The £1.2 million ($1.4 million) mansion in Cape Town had a lust-themed glow-up, which follows a red, pink, and gold theme.

Although the show still sees hot young singletons looking for love, producers promise twists and turns, with host Maya Jama promising ITV a season where “the dynamic changes because there are some Islanders that are more well-known compared to others.”

“It’s a mix of newer and older series so it’ll be interesting to see how the old school OGs bond with the newer series and to see if they have a different approach to the island overall,” she said.

Love Island: All Stars includes a new area for islanders to sneak away from others, The Secret Garden. This new area is accessible through a white door close to the pool that opens into a walkway covered with greenery. The garden space is an intimate seated space, ideal for turning heads, building a connection, and having a cheeky kiss.

This area was first seen on the British reality show when Ekin-Su takes the boys on a date when she first arrives as a bombshell. The Secret Garden later caused drama when Ronnie kissed Kaz when he was coupled up with Elma.

The Secret Garden does come with its own unique set of rules, according to producers. Love Island boss Mike Spencer let The Sun know a bit more about The Secret Garden. He told the outlet that the main rule of this new area is that couples are not allowed to enter. Open all the time, unlike the hideaway, this private space is not available to people in an official couple.

So, the idea behind the secret garden is you can’t go in there in your couple, so it is a place to go sneak away. Maybe you’ll get seen, maybe you won’t. You might get spotted going in, but what happens in here could potentially stay in here.

The Love Island UK host Maya Jama, admitted before the show aired that she was unsure about the new addition to the villa. “Basically, if you want to go and do something naughty you can come down here.”

“What happens in here stays in here… or could get shown in movie night!” the Bristol-born TV presenter admitted to The Sun.

‘Love Island: All Stars’ Features A New Hideaway

The popular hideaway also added a new feature: a second double bed. Mike Spencer hinted that the fan-favorite villa feature could see some different type of action in the sophomore outing of the all-star format. The reality TV boss admitted he was looking for a more “sleepover” vibe inside the room.

“I mean, it’s not the traditional coupling-up format, but I’m sure you could entertain a third during your time here,” he told The Sun. “But there is a double bed, so hopefully we might see some kind of more of a sleepover in here.”

There are also more beds available for the returning islanders, giving them the option to sleep in the living room. The Love Island producer explained that there will be both double and single beds in order to sleep “extra people” throughout the reality series.

“You’ve got a double there and you’ve got singles all the way down here,” he said. In short, it looks like the audience can expect more bombshells to enter the villa.

Rules The Islanders Have To Follow In The ‘Love Island’ Villa

If you want to stay in the iconic Love Island villa, you have to follow some rules. These backstage regulations are for the safety and welfare of those involved as well as for the benefit of the producers of the ITV show.

While earlier seasons of the show saw alcohol-fueled arguments and islanders gathering in the smoking area to gossip about their partners, this has been hugely curbed in later seasons, according to Grazia.

  • Now, there’s a two-drink limit for people in the villa.
  • In 2018, they also banned the smoking area and forced the islanders to smoke off-screen.

Demi Jones, who appeared on the first season of Love Island: All Stars, told Closer that they were only allowed two drinks on the show, and they had to wait hours between the drinks. “Honestly, you do not feel the drink whatsoever,” she explained.

In a TikTok video reported by Closer, 2019 islander Amy Hart revealed that you can’t give your drinks to anyone else in the villa. If you do, apparently the whole villa will get a booze ban. “If you do get caught giving your drink to anyone everyone gets banned for like five days so you’ll let everyone else down. So yeah, don’t do that.”

Other Love Island villa rules:

  • No watches are allowed as Islanders cannot know the time during filming.
  • They can’t talk about relationships when in the pool, as they can’t wear mics.
  • All contestants are told in the morning to split off into groups of boys and girls, and they are instructed to debrief about the night before.
  • Zara McDermott told Grazia their season had limited show times.
  • Hanna Elizabeth told Closer she was not allowed to take a photo of her son in the previous season of Love Island: All Stars.
  • There is a no-nudity policy in the villa.
  • According to The Mirror, islanders can’t wear anything “branded or have visible logos such as clothing, accessories, or footwear.
