The runway is not always that kind to the models who walk it. Often times, young people aspiring to carve their name on the Hollywood walk of fame see an opportunity in modeling. They see it as a venue that will give them connections to rise the ranks and climb the long, exhausting stairway to fame. However, many models have other plans than just to scour the runways worldwide or to be on the cover of every magazine known to the world.
Fans might not know that the vast majority of modeling agencies also represent actors and actresses. For those signed with the right agencies, their chances are infinite. However, it takes a lot of work and hustle to be able to break into the acting world after being a model. It’s very likely that models who have already been established find it hard to be taken seriously in the acting business, but these celebrities started their long Hollywood journey from the runway, and showed the world what they’re made of.

In an interview, the model admitted that she hates labels and rejects the media rhetoric on her transition from modeling to acting saying, “It doesn’t make sense to have to be one thing. People ask me, ‘How was it transitioning from being a model to an actress?’ I’m not transitioning anywhere; I’m never going to stop modeling.” She has now appeared in many Hollywood works like Suicide Squad, Paper Towns, and more.
