Aside from forever being known as the guy who cheated on Becky G, Sebastián Lletget actually has a lot going for himself. Specifically, Lletget is a professional soccer player, who currently plays for FC Dallas. Lletget, who joined the team in 2022, is a Senior midfielder who played more than 2,600 minutes during the 2023 season. With that said, this isn’t Lletget’s first rodeo. Lletget has been playing professionally since 2018 and has played on four other teams over the years. Reportedly, Lletget is worth $1 million.

In November 2022, just one month prior to proposing to Gomez, Lletget, who is Argentinean, shared why soccer was so beloved by the Hispanic community. “Oh, my God. It just runs in the blood,” said Lletget to People Chica. “It’s just me growing up, my personal experience [with] my dad being … born and raised in Argentina. He lives this game differently, and I think it’s become part of our identity as Latinos. It creates a space [where] either you’re playing and you’re enjoying or you’re at home with your family and now you’re rooting for the team.” According to his LinkedIn biography, Lletget is also an investor, who “co-founded a venture fund in partnership with his manager and has already made a few notable investments.”
