Why Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli Have ‘No Chance’ of Reconciling Despite Feeling ‘Devastated’

There’s no chance for Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli to get back together.

“People around Lori and Mossimo have known they have been going through a really hard time in the last year,” a source told Us Weekly on Thursday.

“This isn’t a shock to people around them. It has been a rough time for Lori. She is devastated.”

The insider revealed that Loughlin initiated the split because she “thought a break could help” their relationship. However, “they are not on the same page” anymore.

“They will not reconcile — there is currently no chance — and will ultimately divorce,” the source stated matter-of-factly.

In fact, Giannuli has “been on dates” since the split, while Loughlin “has not.”

On Oct. 2, Page Six confirmed that the “Full House” star, 61, and Giannulli, 62, had separated after 28 years of marriage.

A rep told us that, while there were “no legal proceedings underway” to end their marriage, the couple had been “living apart.”

One day before news of their split was revealed, Loghlin was spotted grabbing dinner with Anne Heche’s ex James Tupper.

The two had dined at The Bird Streets Club in West Hollywood. At one point, the Hallmark actress leaned into her “A Christmas Blessing” co-star for an affectionate hug while waiting for their vehicles at the valet.

Meanwhile, the fashion designer was spotted with stylist Hannah Harrison just hours after announcing his split from Loghlin.

However, Harrison shut down any speculation immediately, telling Us Weekly, “I feel like it was bad timing. I went to the [G/FORE Supply] store not knowing that his separation had been announced.

“He was introducing me to the guys there so I could pull clothes [for Giannulli’s brand G/FORE],” she continued before adding, “We did not drive together. We drove separately.”

She then clarified, “We were not there together [and] we are not dating. We are good friends. He was just meeting me at the store.”

Throughout their marriage, Loughlin and Giannulli welcomed two daughters — Isabella Rose, 27, and influencer Olivia Jade, 26 — who “aren’t taking sides” in the breakup.

“They both love their parents and just want them to be happy,” a source told People on Thursday, insisting the girls don’t feel any “drama or resentment.”

The insider added, “They’ve seen how hard their mom and dad have tried over the years, and they’re focused on keeping things peaceful and staying close as a family.”

The siblings “at the end of the day … just want everyone to be OK.”

In 2019, Loghlin and Giannulli made headlines due to their involvement in the college admissions scandal.

A year later, the then-couple pleaded guilty to paying $500,000 to get their two daughters accepted into the University of Southern California as crew recruits — despite not being rowers.

The “Fuller House” star went on to serve a two-month sentence in a Dublin, Calif., federal prison before being released in December 2020. As for Giannulli, he completed his five-month prison sentence in Lompoc, Calif., in April 2021.
