Summer House star Paige DeSorbo is freezing her eggs for the purposes of “security.”
Paige addressed the decision to freeze her eggs during the Tuesday, January 28 episode of Giggly Squad.
Giggly Squad is the podcast Paige co-hosts with Summer House’s Hannah Berner — and it’s also where the reality TV star has recently dropped big news about developments in her personal life.
On December 30, Paige informed listeners that her relationship with Southern Charm’s Craig Conover had come to an end after three years, which came as a surprise to many (but not all).
At that time, Paige was insistent that the breakup was friendly, and she said: “I think [Craig and I] will remain friends. No one did anything. It wasn’t a bad thing.”
She also shut down rumors of infidelity on TikTok, and it initially looked like the split was genuinely amicable — until she liked a meme mocking Southern Charm, and Craig unfollowed her on Instagram.
In an episode of Southern Charm that aired right after Paige and Craig called it quits – filmed well before the split – Craig revealed to his friends that he’d frozen his sperm.
Given Paige’s recent comments, it seems like they perhaps explored these options together before they decided to throw in the towel on their love.
Paige Said She Planned It Before The Breakup
On Tuesday’s Giggly Squad episode, “Giggling about minding our business, the patriarchy, and peeing at the plaza,” Paige talked to Hannah about her decision to freeze her eggs.
The practice of “freezing eggs” is becoming more common, and it enables women to have more control over when they decide to have children.
At 32, Paige is still young, but she explained that she was looking far ahead, telling Hannah:
“I was like, OK, [in] 2025, I’m freezing my eggs and I had it on my list because … I’m just going to, like, chill the month of January and I have a list of things I wanted to get done in the month of January.”
Paige alluded to having made the decision at some point in 2024, presumably before her relationship with Craig ended.
She got into aspects of the process a little, and admitted she was “freaked out” by a handful of stories about how the procedure can cause “changes” in a person’s body.
According to Paige, freezing her eggs wasn’t as much about the prospect of running out of time as it was “a security” for her, in terms of family planning:
“When I first decided to freeze my eggs it wasn’t like, ‘oh my God, my career!’
“I genuinely thought that at 32 I would have a kid.”
Paige added that another big motivator was not knowing how many children she wanted yet: “Always in the back of my head I was, like, what if I get to 39, 40, and I’m like, ‘wait, I want one more.'”
