Mark Wright has shared a picture of the nearly-completed mansion he’s due to move into with wife Michelle Keegan as the sizeable pool at the property started to take shape.

Former The Only Way Is Essex star Mark and actress Michelle, both 35, who are estimated to have a net worth of £12million, have been documenting the construction process after purchasing the original Essex property for £1.3million in October 2019.

And, taking to their home Instagram account on Tuesday, Mark gave a glimpse at the extensive property with its unfilled pool, and shared a clip of his gardener as he planted an array of colourful flowers.

The concrete base of the pool was visible in one snap, with Mark tagging the businesses who were set to complete the job.

He wrote: ‘We are ready @darrenhl_0712 @themosaicscompany.’

The television presenter then provided a voiceover to a clip of various plants being delivered to the property and placed in the ground.

He said: ‘The girls at Abridge Garden Centre are absolutely smashing it. They’ve bought all these plants that the boys at Freeman Builds are sorting out because I want it done by today.

‘All these beautiful plants but now we’re decided that we want flowers in between here (the plants), not just the grass, and the ladies are going back to choose it all for us because they’re the best.’

Sharing a clip of the plants that had been brought back from the garden centre, Mark said: ‘So the ladies are back, look at this. I’ve got to give them a shout out. Nothing to do with anything else other than to do with the fact that they’ve been brilliant at turning this around for me in a few hours.’

The foundations for a massive pool have been dug in the back garden, which Mark recently boasted was ‘four to five acres’ in total.

He added that he would need a special special ride-on lawn mower in order to keep it neat and tidy.

Despite months of delays due to the Covid pandemic, their five-bedroom mansion is beginning to resemble their architectural model, after builders put in the windows late in August.

Due to various lockdowns and Covid restrictions, construction has been stop- start after they demolished a farmhouse and began building a five-bedroom mansion complete with bar, gym and granny annexe.

The couple won planning approval for the colossal building project back in January 2020 – and it looks like it’ll be over two years after that date until they can move in.

Construction experts have estimated the demolition and rebuild of the home will cost around £3.5million.
