He opened up about it for the first time during an interview with Ross Mathews on Hollywood Today Live.

‘I’ve never said this on television before: We are married,’ he confessed.

RuPaul previously told Buzzfeed he wouldn’t marry Georges. He said, however, that even without rings on their fingers they were committed to each other.

‘Is he devoted to me? Am I devoted to him? Oh, hell yes,’ he said at the time.

As for what it is he loves so much about Georges, RuPaul told the outlet: ‘He’s so kind and funny.

‘I remember praying, “I want a sweet, sensitive man,” and I got an Australian who’s just lovely.’

RuPaul Charles attended the 2018 Emmy Awards and was even part of the show. He made his first appearance on stage early on, during the opening sketch.

The drag queen stepped out holding a phone with a call for Saturday Night Live’s Keenan Thompson informing him that diversity in Hollywood was still very much an issue, despite his catchy tune stating otherwise.

After the call was complete, RuPaul quipped: ‘Wait, hold up. Y’all called me up here for one line in a stupid skit? Y’all ain’t right.’

He made his second appearance of the night on stage to accept the Emmy for outstanding reality competition program.

RuPaul arrived on stage to accept the honor beside Michelle Visage, Carson Kressley and Ross Mathews.

‘I would like to thank on behalf of the 140 drag queen we have released into the wild…,’ he said before thanking all those who work with him to create the show.

He then added: ‘To all of the dreamers out there, listen, if you can’t love yourself, how in the hell you gonna love somebody else? Can I get an amen for that?’

The competition series also won outstanding host for a reality series.

RuPaul wore a white Calvin Klein 205W39NYC suit with an Andy Warhol print of the Statue of Liberty on the side. He paired the look with orange Calvin Klein boots.
