Adam Joseph Biography
Adam Joseph is an American journalist who is currently working as a weekday meteorologist on Action News at 4, 5:30, and 10 pm. He graduated from Lyndon State College with a Bachelor of Science in 2000.
Joseph’s first on-air experience came in 1998 when he forecasted and anchored the weather on LSC-TV. Looking back, Joseph laughs at his green performance but cherishes the experience. He started his professional career at WBOY-TV as the Chief Meteorologist in Clarksburg.
Shortly after, he landed a job with WSAZ-TV where he eventually received the prestigious AMS Seal of Approval for Television. He also received several awards for meteorology excellence.
Four years later, Joseph joined WPVI as the weekend Meteorologist in April of 2005. He loves the balance of fulfilling a lifetime passion for the weather while dipping into the entertainment world. He fills in on ABC’s Good Morning America when needed, and was voted Philadelphia’s Best Meteorology by Philadelphian Magazine in 2009.
Joseph is strongly committed to making a difference in the community and is heavily involved with Hospice and the American Cancer Society. When off his duties, he enjoys weight lifting, running, biking, swimming, spending time with family, and just making every day count.
