Callum Hann is an Australia chef, author and passionate cooking school owner. He competed on MasterChef Australia Season 2 and finished 2nd, as well as MasterChef Australia Season 12 and finished 4th. He also graced the kitchen for the 2025 season MasterChef: Back to Win.
Following his first appearance in the MasterChef kitchen, Callum returned home and soon opened Sprout Cooking School. Drawing inspiration from his Barossa Valley heritage and the best produce South Australia has to offer, the interactive cooking school was followed by Sprout Health Studio in 2015, Sprout Training in 2017, and Dietary Hawk in 2018.
Having graced the kitchen for the 2020 season MasterChef: Back to Win, Callum has since opened two new restaurants in the heart of Adelaide, Olive and Roma. With three cookbooks to his name, Callum is kept busy with cooking demonstrations and appearances, as well as regular television and radio duties.
With his love of food first stemming from caring for his family as a young man after the passing of his father, Callum is now delighted that he gets to share the joy of cooking with his own children, Elle and Henry, whom he shares with wife Crystal.

Chef Callum Hann is married to Crystal Jagger. The couple met in 2015 and tied the knot in 2018 in the Adelaide Hills. In April 2025, Callum and Crystal celebrated their 7th wedding anniversary.
“Happy Anniversary @callums_kitchen I love you so much!” Crystal wrote on Instagram at the time, along with a photo of the couple on their wedding day. “You are the best husband and I love the life we have built together xx.”
Callum Hann and his wife, Crystal Jagger, have three children: Elle Madeleine Hann, Henry Alexander Hann and Fleur Audrey Hann. The couple had their first child, a daughter named Elle Madeleine Hann in 2020, their second child, a son named Henry in 2022, and their third child, a daughter named Fleur Audrey Hann in 2025.
Callum Hann is the son of Deb and Richard Hann. His father, Richard Hann, passed away at the age of 50, following a brave battle with cancer.
He lives in Adelaide with his wife, Crystal Jagger, and their three children.
Callum first appeared on the second season of MasterChef Australia in 2010 at the age of 20. Finishing just one spot shy of victory in the MasterChef kitchen in 2010 after cooking Peter Gilmore’s infamous snow egg, the Adelaide native returned for another chance at winning the ultimate prize in the 2025 season MasterChef: Back to Win. He finished 4th.
He re-entered the MasterChef Australia competition in the 2025 Back To Win season, poised to give it his all to lift the coveted trophy as 2025’s MasterChef Australia champ.
