Dan Peres is an American Magazine editor Baltimore-born and spent almost two decades at Condé Nast. At that time, he became editor-in-chief of Details Magazine. Talking about his education, he graduated from New York University with degrees in Journalism and American History.
In college, he worked as a copyboy at The New York Times and later served as a research assistant. He also spent nine years at W magazine, starting as assistant editor and eventually becoming European editor. During his tenure at Details, he brought to the magazine writers and columnists such as Augusten Burroughs, Anderson Cooper, and many other famous faces.
Under his leadership, Details won two ASME Design Awards and several other nominations. In March 2019, he was named editor-in-chief of Gawker.
