Jose Grinan is an American journalist who is currently working as a senior news anchor at FOX 26 Huston. He joined this station in August 1993. Grinan has been an essential part of FOX 26 Morning News since its establishment.
He attended and graduated from the University of South Florida, where he studied speech and theatre. As a result, he is fluent in Spanish. Jose developed an interest in broadcasting from his filming and helping produce documentaries. This was for the US Army.
Prior to joining FOX 26, he worked in several places including Tampa, New York, Miami, Dallas, and Los Angeles. He covered the massacre in Killeen. Additionally, he witnessed civil disturbances firsthand in New York, Miami, and Los Angeles. He also chased Hurricanes in the Caribbean. In 1978, he became a member of the National Association of Black Journalists.
Apart from that, he is a born member of various community-based organizations. Additionally, Jose likes speaking to students throughout school districts in the area. Currently, he serves as a senior news anchor for FOX 26 Houston. He joined the station in 1993.
