Laura Garcia is an American Award-Winning journalist who is currently working as a morning news anchor for KNTV NBC 11 News since 2000. Prior to joining her current station, she worked in Phoneix, Arizona for two consecutive years. While there, she served as an investigative reporter for KPHO-TV.

Most notably, she began her career in San Fransisco working as a production assistant for KGO-TV where she worked for one year from 1991 to 1992. She then transferred to report and anchor in Fresno for KMPH Fox 26. Afterward, she was hired by KFSN ABC 30 News and served as a reporter from 1993 to 1995.

From 1995, she worked at KSEE 24 NBC News as a news anchor and reporter up to 1997. In due course, she relocated to Phoenix, Arizona where she worked for KPHO CBS 5 as an investigative reporter before joining her current station.

During her free time, she enjoys skiing, golfing, snowshoeing, reading, and cooking. In relation to her education, she attended Saint Mary’s College of California where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications and Government.
