Wes Wyatt Biography
Wes Wyatt is an American Chief Meteorologist currently working at WBRC FOX6 since 2010. He began his career at WJRD TV in 1999 August. He previously worked for seven years at WVUA-TV in Tuscaloosa.
Wyatt also served as an adjunct instructor of Broadcast Meteorology at the University of Alabama. Before working in WVUA, he served as a Chief Meteorologist for WTOK-TV an Affiliate in Meridian, MS. Wyatt has served as an extra teacher of transmission meteorology at the University of Alabama.
Concerning his educational progress, Wes attended The University of Alabama graduating with a Master of Science, in Geography IN 2010. He also went to Mississippi State University and attained a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology in 2000. Wyatt is an AMS Certified Broadcast Meteorologist and has a National Weather Association Seal of Approval.
Additionally, he was the best climate anchor named by the Associated Press in 2003, 2005, 2008, 2009, and 2015. Wyatt is also a privileged goal #767 from the State of Alabama House of Representatives for his extreme climate inclusion in West Alabama.
