Originally known as Noelene Moyer, Noelene Moten completed her studies at Syracuse University in 1994. It was during her time there that she met Lawrence Moten. She currently serves as a school counselor within Prince George’s County Public Schools.
The couple had two daughters, Lawrencia and Leilani. Their eldest daughter, Lawrencia, is a sports anchor and TV host at HBCU Go and covers women’s basketball at Liberty University. After his professional basketball career, Moten helped youth sports as a basketball general manager at the Digital Pioneers Academy and worked at Clary Middle School by 2019.
