Thanksgiving is a joyful day. But sadly, the RHONY star Jill Zarin spent the eventful day at a hospital because her mother Gloria Kamen had a stroke!

At the time of writing this article, Jill’s mother Gloria Kamen was still hospitalized. This also means she was still alive.

Meanwhile, asking for prayers, the RHONY star took to his IG to write, “Mommy had a stroke, praying for physical strength to match her mental grit! Thx for all your love. @mrsjillzarin @joannawexler @allyshapiro @jon_wexler.”

Also, Jill shared a video of herself visiting her mother, at Boca Raton Regional Hospital in Florida. It seems that the RHONY star and her daughter, Allyson Shapiro, stopped by the hospital and they even showed off the reality star’s commendation for donating to the facility.

“I’m visiting my mom. I just got here, but on the way up we happened to be passing all the names, and I saw this the other day. I showed Ally the executive circle — look who’s here,” Jill shared as she pointed to her name in the video.

However, her daughter pointed out it should’ve been in honor of her late husband Bobby, rather than Jill. “So, I’m going to change this for next year,” the star promised.

In case you don’t know, Jill’s husband Bobby Zarin passed away at the age of 71 in Jan 2018 after a long battle with cancer.

Jill was last reported to have made the shortlist for Bravo’s new “Legacy” spin-off that would also be joined by Kelly Bensimon, Dorinda Medley, Luann de Lesseps, and Sonja Morgan

Sadly, Ramona Singer didn’t make it to the show as she didn’t want any part of it.“I do not want to do the show any longer. It’s not for me at this time,” she explained.

Who Is Gloria Kamen Husband (RHONY Jill Zarin Father)?

Gloria Kamen was married to her husband Sol J. Kamen (Jill’s father) for almost 65 years before she was hospitalized in November 2022.

The two tied the knot back on December 25, 1957.

Her husband, Sol was born on June 13, 1929. He is a Brooklyn Technical High School graduate who went on to work at The Corcoran Group. The old man was also once featured on the Real Housewives of New Your City back in 2009. He

According to Jill, her dad and mom were the ones who build her up to become the woman she is today.

Besides Jill, Gloria also shares another daughter named Lisa Wexler who was also an RHONY star.

A versatile and talented woman, Lisa works as a talk radio host, Probate Judge, attorney, advocate, author, and public speaker. She even is the Gracie-Award-winning creator of The Lisa Wexler Show with the slogan “If You’re Thinking About it, Lisa’s Talking About It.”

As a Probate Judge, Lisa worked at the Westport/Weston District in Connecticut, having been elected three times. And as an author, she co-wrote “Secrets of a Jewish Mother” with Jill.

The last we checked, Lisa was still to the same wonderful guy, Bill Wexler, for 37 years. The two share two great kids, Jon and Joanna, and two adorable dogs, Shaina and Yofi.
