Kim Lee is often referred to as the “Asian Kim Kardashian” due to her stunning appearance, vast fortune, tremendous internet presence, and dramatic love troubles; but, she is so much more. After all, it has been made abundantly clear throughout all three seasons of ‘Bling Empire’ on Netflix up to this point that she is not only a DJ but also a model who is fully committed to carving out a special place for herself in this world. Nevertheless, her personal experiences are among the key plot aspects in this reality production; so, let’s actually investigate her possible current relationship with Lewis Tan more thoroughly, may we?

The Adventures of Kim Lee and Lewis Tan in the Bling Empire

The Vietnamese DJ and the half-Chinese half-English actor have admittedly known one another for a significant amount of time; nonetheless, when they first met, neither of them experienced any feelings of love or natural physical attraction for the other. This much is made plain by the fact that there was irrefutable connection between her and her Korean co-star Kevin Kreider in the second instalment, whereas he made his interest in Jamie Xie clear. In the first instalment, he made it clear that he was interested in her. Both, however, did not work out for a variety of reasons, including Kim’s trust concerns and Jamie’s overall lack of interest in dating, which made it possible for Kim to start hanging out with Lewis. Jamie’s lack of interest in dating in general also contributed to the failure of both relationships.

The reality is that Kim had already started her path to healing by the time the third season rolled around, which essentially enabled her to not only learn what her genuine aspirations were but also act on them accordingly. It is possible that this is the reason why she consented to meet up with Lewis for a casual boxing practise, only for the session to be full of flirtatious comments and innuendos rather than any definite movements that would cross lines. She did admit that her friend is genuinely rather attractive, but she said that she is in the mindset of “simply [wanting] to go out there and have fun.” I have a strong sense that this is exactly what my life requires at this point.

Therefore, Kim and Lewis’ chats consisted solely of lighter banter, at least up until the point where they broached the topic of their star signs, at which point she requested that he research the Gemini and Aquarius’ general level of compatibility. This is the point in time in which they became aware of the possible levels of sexual intimacy between them, and they were unable to control their playful banter. However, they soon became serious enough to begin actually getting to know each other on a personal level. When Kim’s friends later inquired exactly what was going on between the two of them, she simply blushed instead of answering directly, which further contributed to the impression that they were much closer than was initially believed to be the case.

Are Kim Lee and Lewis Tan Dating?

If we are being completely forthright, the fact that Kim brought Lewis along as her plus one to a party that was hosted by Kane Lim did lend credence to the notion that the two of them might be on the cusp of officially dating; despite this, they never once addressed the situation. We use the term “precipice” because, despite the fact that they appeared to be at ease with one another, the manner in which they were talking to one another or trying to psyche one another out was not as easygoing as it ought to have been if they were already together. Even though he was the one who asked and all she did was be brutally honest and ultimately tell him that he’s not her type, the fact that she left the table for a moment in the middle of the meal to speak with Kevin was a bit strange.

When it comes to the question of whether or not Kim and Lewis are genuinely dating, the situation is regrettably a little murky due to the fact that neither the famous movie star nor the DJ has publicly acknowledged or denied anything as of this writing. However, given that they continue to follow one other on social media and communicate with one another in this manner, there is a possibility that they will end up together in the future. At least, that is the hopeful hope we have. But one thing is for certain: Kim and Lewis continue to have a wonderful relationship regardless of the status of their romantic relationship.
