Shania Twain began her career in the music industry as a vocalist. Her debut studio album, simply titled Shania Twain, was issued the next year, in 1993. In addition to this, during the same year, she performed as a lead artist for the singles What made you say that Dance with the one that brought you and You lay a whole lot of love on me. In the same year, she also gave performances on a tour that was co-headlined and was called the Triple Play tour.

Her studio album of the same name, which was released in 1995, was named “The woman in me.” Aside from this, she was a lead artist in the same year and released songs with the titles Whose bed have your boots been beneath, Any man of mine, The woman in me (Needs the man in you), and (If you’re not in it for love) I’m Outta Here. 2016–2022: Now, second Las Vegas residency

Twain stated that she would be releasing new songs “very soon” in October of 2016, in an interview with Rolling Stone. During an interview with Billboard that took place in December 2016, she discussed her upcoming album. She said that the end result would have a “sort of schizophrenic musically,” but that “She’s the glue” will hold everything together. Twain gave an interview to Rolling Stone in February 2017 in which she discussed the album once more. During this interview, select song titles were confirmed, and Twain said that she had not only hoped to release a single in March, but that she also planned to release the album in May. At the 2017 Stagecoach Festival, which took place on April 29th, she gave a performance.

Twain’s new single, titled “Life’s About to Get Good,” was scheduled to make its debut in June, according to an announcement made by Billboard in April 2017. The album was expected to be released in September. Twain had the first public performance of her new music at the Stagecoach Festival in Indio, California, in 2017, where she was the featured performer.
